Not sure Alonso deserves to be in that team. Think Davies has been better LB this season.

Again, Vertonghen? Been decent but no Burnley players is a surprise. Would have though one of their defenders would get in and Pope has to feel unlucky to miss out on GK. de gea has been good but I’m pretty sure Popes stats match up to his since he came into the team.

Stop reading when I got to Ox - transformed, as the tears of laughter were clouding my vision.

You don’t reckon Ox is a better CM now than he was at arsenal then?

Can’t say I do no. He looks the same player to me, capable of running with the ball and beating a man, but frustratingly inconsistent. The fact that he’s largely kept on the bench by Milner says it all.

I thought he looked at his best when playing as a WB at Arsenal tbh, as it suited his strong points, but he didn’t fancy playing there,

I was not a fan when he came but he's improved and is better than he was with Gooners already, I'm not fully on board but as long as he continues to improve I'm happy.

OX has the potential to get better and better, he can take his chance especially now than Can is injured and leaving as well.
When we have Keita next season I don't know where he's going to play. As for now, he has done well.

Chamberlain's improved a lot since he came to us, his stats on Squaka bear this out. I'm looking forward to him getting better and better. Tobes watches such dross every week, I think he's losing perspective :bandit:

Ox was introduced slowly because he was a new signing and to keep him fresh for the end of the season where he's a starter for our key games

That’s no fault of Ox, Milner is just a better player than he is right now.

it's a shock I know but players are allowed compete for places even if competing with a new signing
