IMO if klopp got his hands on at least half the players at utd he would improve them no end.

klopp coaches. mourinho talks about himself

You know the difference in mane and martial.

One manager purchased, the other inherited.....

Poor wum that PJ, Mourinho has spent mega-millions on players(wages for free signings)instead of coaching Martial to the standard required.

In summary, Klopp is a coach and Mourinho is a bus.

Err, think you'll find Klopp has utelised what he had before and added buys to problem areas, attack wasn't a problem for Utd when he went there, apparently it was LvG's boring tactics.
It's gone really well in that department.:emoticon-0100-smile

Getting a "tune" out of a player is one part of being a manager, buying well is another. To be accused of doing both well is #anshambles of a wum.

    LFC

Karius - improvement over 12 months ago
TAA- coming on leaps and bounds
Robertson - transformed form pplayer who made debut. clear differences in his appaorach and tactical ability
Lovren - silk purse sows ear? Transformed in atitude but still a bit dumb and dives in.
VVD - signed to be organiser and big man. is doing both. will improve further
Henderson - turned into no 6.
    Ox - transformed
    windy - a no 10 made into a no 8
Milner - no work needed can play anywhere for klopp
Mane - coaxed along to be a much better player than he arrived as
Firmino - transformed into a false 9 from rodgers RW (sees the talent, uses the talent, builds team round best attributes)
Salah - signed to inject pace, positioned differently to other clubs 40 goals is result

    thats #real coaching at work

Note i've not compared them to anyone but their former selves prior to klopp's influence.

Not all the players listed are Klopp buys either. The point being that's a great list of improved players since his arrival. Could you do similar with any of your managers?

Mohamed Salah named in PFA Team of the Year

Liverpool's record-breaking forward Mohamed Salah has been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for 2018.

The Egypt international has scored an incredible 40 goals in his debut season at Anfield, with 30 of those coming in the English top flight.

The LFC No.11 is joined in the PFA's three-man attack by Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.

The three strikers are currently battling it out for the Golden Boot - the accolade awarded each season to the Premier League's top scorer - with Salah four goals ahead of Kane (26) and nine in front of Aguero (21).

I think he was over tired at end of last season. He needed moreno to play some games and the guy just didn't step up.

Milner has been used well this season by klopp and had plenty of games without being tired and have now played one more game in total (not minutes mind) than last.

last year he played 3437 mintues and this year he's only played 2320 minutes

the difference with 4 league and at least 2 CL games left is massive.

Another example of working the squad.

If we look at firmino and salah they have 3633 and 3576 minutes respectively... mane has only 2987 minutes. This just shows how much we have play the front 3 and how lucky we are they have all been fit. Again this is imo why squad depth is vital next season.

solanke has had 861 mins for us. we need to balance out the workload more up front so all these guys come the the crunch times of the season (christmas and the run in) fit and raring to go.

We are a work in progress with respect to this.

given we only have one player in it and there is atoken cheslea player who's not been near robertson's level.... well it seems a bit unfair. I'd even question aguero being in there.

"Not me, not me, I won 8 titles.. not me, because err" in response to the questions about his team's mentality after city and following performance v WBA<ok>

Isn't it his job to sort both of those things :emoticon-0114-dull:

he said he seen it (mentality after City game) during the run-up to the WBA game that week, so he knew, and did nothing ?! <laugh>
