My BOB badge is still firmly on, but at least small signs of improvement, gives me a slight hope. Though if Swansea had a goal scorer we would have lost and alternatively if Gyan squared the ball then we could have won it as well. All in all a point away from home is always welcome and a more positive team selection shows he is at least attempting to improve things. As everyone knows I'm an avid BOB member, however I must admit today the only error in the starting 11 was putting Colback on the left, think we should have gone with Sess out left and Whickham up front with Gyan. If we're struggling for goals, then you have to go with 2 strikers up front. The defence looks a lot more solid when Richardson isn't at left back, and I hope this is the way forward for us. As much as he got the starting 11 90% right (at least in my eyes) Plan B is still missing though, and the timing of his subs are still questionable. Looking forward to see the transfer day last minute scramble, and a left winger and a striker are the only incomings I'm looking for.
I thought plan B was there this time, where we dominated the closing stages with the help of the changes that were made..
Sorry mate, but Plan B was plan A, thought Whickham was the deciding factor when he came on, we looked more dangerous with 2 strikers on the pitch, (but that's usually the case) with Sess back into midfield we looked a lot more capable of making more chances. Sees is best employed in the midfield 4 for me.
I think that was Wickhams best showing and that gives me hope. If we dont get that LW player but a good poacher then moving Sess to the left and two strikers will do it. For me the nail will go in Brucies coffin if we get that goalscorer and he sticks to 4-4-1-1, it must be 4-4-2 with the poacher alongside whoever is right, not who cost the most.
