What would you know about that :bandit:

Since Everton last won a trophy -
They have spent £314,945,500.00 - More than any other team in the world without winning anything
They have signed 149 new players
Players that have left for other clubs have won a combined 83 trophies
Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, Birmingham, Swansea and Wigan have all won domestic trophies

Hardly a consolation to saints who could have had 3pts If playing against 10 men and helped their chance of survival.

Also half the time these types of scenarios are a double stitch up to the team conned as if player got suspended it would be against teams normally around stitched club.

Don’t need a new stadium when we can only just sell the maximum allowed percentage of ST under PL rules. If only we had a ST waiting list.

Moshiri already promised Fat Sam he wouldn't get sacked at the end of this season but maybe boost the sales of half season tickets by announcing he'll go after 19 games?

The Mainz v. Freiberg incident is being called "bizarre VAR," "VAR madness" and "VAR chaos" but hang on a mo. From the BBC story:

Mainz initially had the penalty appeal turned down after right-back Daniel Brosinski's cross deflected off Freiburg centre-back Marc-Oliver Kempf's hand and was saved by keeper Alexander Schwolow.

As the players departed the pitch, Winkmann was told to consult VAR and ran over to the other side of the pitch to watch the replay on a monitor.

Winkmann overturned the decision and awarded the hosts a penalty before having to recall the entire Freiburg side and the handful of Mainz players who had left the pitch.

Following a delay of over six minutes De Blasis scored the penalty in the bottom left corner and Winkmann blew again for half-time, during which the unfortunate Kempf was substituted.

The problem here was not VAR. The problem here was the sulking of petulant players refusing to return to the pitch and taking SIX MINUTES to obey the rules. The rules are very clear regarding a VAR decision. There is no rule about it being ignored once the ref has blown for half time. "We were under the impression that when the referee blows for half-time that's it," said Freiberg's sporting director. The game is not governed by impressions.

We don’t sell half season tickets, we’ll again sell the maximum number of season tickets permissible for our capacity under PL rules this year. We’ve got a waiting list as well btw.

    Keep up love

Oh and BFS has had no such assurance from Moshiri

No but VAR is a problem in itself.

That is a subjective opinion. The VAR replay has clearly shown you got it wrong. The opposition fans go away happy. Your manager cannot now divert attention from your mistake by blaming refereeing decisions in what some observers call The Fergie Protocol.

VAR should only be used if the referee and his assistants didnt see the incident clearly. Cant have the ref reviewing every incident just because he is scared to make a decision.

As are a lot of fouls. How many times do we see fouls were ref has given it but others think it’s not.

    Same with handball.

No issue using technology for black and white situations but all var does for fouls is make it 3/4 peoples opinions which may still differ from others

For years referees have refused to improve their standards with their pathetic self-assessment standards that guarantee a ref will never be criticised for not giving a foul not matter how blatant it was.

VAR might have some problems to begin with but how many times do you want PGMOL to prove they are incompetent and unable to change?
