Always undo in pedals in the opposite direction to the drive. Have spent fruitless frustrated hours scraping knuckles trying to undo pedals the wrong way in the past !

 

I get so many people contact me saying that the pedals I sold them don't fit
"Well the right one went straight in, but the left one wont bite at all mate, nahh, nuht aht ahl mayte"
"Try turning it counter clock wise......."
"oh........now I feel futin Stoopid!"

Nah I work for a company that manufactures gym equipment. I am the guy that fixes the **** when it breaks.
Treadmills, bikes, ellipticals etc
We do spare parts too, for the bikes.

Your shoes then? Call me old fashioned but I always thought pedals were meant to be flat? What do the protruding nut heads bring to the party like?

 

You don't know these things unless you are shown the way, it's not knowledge passed on through generations is it?

Spending 5k on a bike is insane, thats not much less than what I paid for my car

Yeah I got a £750 Rolex........yeah and this £8 Casio does the same job mate.......

I hate having things around my wrists anyway, so dont wear a watch (with smart phones they have become superfluous anyway), but if I did put something around my wrist, it wouldnt be £750 worth of easily breakable metal that is like a homing beacon for thieves and muggers.
