    if we’re going to continue shopping in s cond or third rate leagues, it might be worth looking at league of Ireland as a possible supply chain. Preston captured a couple of good lads including a striker last season for peanuts. 100k will buy anyone in league and standard contracts are only 9 months. Any kind of a two year contract would satisfy a potential signing. No language differences and apart from moving to a poorer country, few disadvantages

    What do you mean NO LANGUAGE DIFFERENCES,do some of you speak English then ? Didn't we sign a superstar Irish striker a few years back ? Think he's back there now.

    I did say IF we’re going to continue shopping in no hope leagues it might as well be the Irish one. It’s cheap and we have some great Irish lads through the decades. How many quality Macedonians, poles or Dutch have we ever had. Either that or we could buy half the wally team for 100 quid when they fail to win promotion, they might even throw in their manager for that
