Champions League Final build-up

Lets put this to bed now, we need to step back and realise we are not in the final yet. If we don't sort this out we'll end up getting turned over by Roma as we seem to think we have one foot in the final.

Even Klopp slipped up in a recent interview and said something like "we've just reached a final" before correcting himself.

Taking the piss out of how we seem to think we're already there. We need to get our game heads on and realise how good Roma are.

 

Would rather have had Bayern in the semi. I think Roma will be proper up for the games against us and the 2nd leg being in Rome is a disaster for us.

 

At home they have a great record and a brilliant atmosphere. We need to stop them scoring at Anfield.

 

Roma are the 4th best team in Europe. We're just better.

 

All we need now is that Ted character to turn up and we're ****ed.

Jinx aside. Of course we're favourites over Roma, but Roma are obviously a very capable side and not to be underestimated. Win or lose, this is not going to be easy.

 

I was more concerned about their bus-parking abilities. We don't need to be going there with a 0-0. But they have a conceded goals average of 1.2 to our 0.7. Goals per game: 1.67 to 3.3. WDL is 5-2-3 to 6-4-0. About the only thing they beat us in is headed goals and fouls committed. The stereotype would suggest Italian teams aren't scared of racking up fouls but no, it seems we're more likely to go in hard, or late.
