I'm not a proper fan , thank God, I've already got a religion.
I attend mosque every week...I think its safe to say I've got a season ticket
I also watch on the telly
I don't buy any team merchandise as I have it tailor made to fit.
I wouldn't say I'm an armchair fan nor a plastic chair fan...we sit on the floor.
A visit to the mosque costs me a couple of quid maybe less, depends if I fancy popping into the corner shop and buying a pint or 2 of Irn Bru.
I don't attend other mosques as I have no need to, I go to mine.
Last time I attended was on Friday
Started supporting my team because it was passed down from Grandfather to Father to Son and now I've passed it onto my son...runs through our veins, I bleed my team colours.

It was interesting to see the answers to the multiple questions, designed purposely to give me a better understanding of feeling generally on here regarding Premier and EFL support. Lot's off pretty good responses too. The only one's that seem to be struggling to respond are Spurs supporters, fook knows how they are going to afford to watch their team at their new ground. I'm foreseeing pitch invasions West Ham style once the new home season gets under way.

Have to be honest , I found the list of questions quite informative . Not so much from me , but they serve a purpose IMHO .

One thing that hasn’t been mentioned yet, is how many season tickets for the big clubs are owned by touts (or amateur touts) and sold perfectly legally via sites like StubHub game by game to tourists or fans who don’t want an obstructed view seat, which is about all that make it to general sale these days. I could nearly get double the cost of my season tickets by selling the seats by game for their effective face value. For the bigger games I could get £125 per seat (the maximum permissible for Everton) which is what I’ve seen them go for on StubHub which is endorsed by the club.

Look at the rows near the front at Arsenal, United and Liverpool, and you’ll see the seats full of obvious tourists, these are season ticket seats.......of late there’s been plenty of Gooners staying away as they can’t be bothered, but plenty of those unfilled seats will also be due to touts being unable to shift their pass holder seats to tourists who can’t be arsed either.

I thought CFC's response was interesting, he said he SHARED two season tickets (if i read it right) - something they tried preventing at my club with photo id and was strictly enforced initially. The problem with that is if you miss 3-4 games it makes the ST no longer viable so you are relieing on any other deals attached to it.

    Interesting.

I have known many men and women change their religion; no one ever changes their team.

Loads of people share STs mate, especially in London where tickets are sky high.

I know a group of 4 posties from North London who share one ST. How else could a postman with a family afford to visit The Emirates regularly?

Brb is already convinced that Stan doesn't support United because he watches Woking Lol

    1. What team do you support?
    Sunderland

    2. Are you a season ticket holder/how much did it cost?
    No

    3. Do you actually go to games or watch only via TV?
Hardly go now, working weekends puts a downer on that.

    4. If a non season ticket holder, how many home games have you attended this season?
Only the 2, and we have lost both, cos we are really ****

    5. Cost of a match day ticket when you do attend and is that the cheapest available for adults?
    £25
    6. Rough cost overall that you pay for match day entertainment (ticket, food, drink, transport)?
The beer costs more than the match. Don't need transport

    7. If you support a Prem team, do you go to watch any lower league teams (Whom and cost per game)?
    n/a

    8. What's the lowest league position you have ever watched your team play?
    Division 3

    9. When was the last time you attended your team's ground to watch them play and who were you playing?
We lost to the mighty Barnsley.

    10. How did you come about supporting your team?
I live about 500m from the old Roker park, my dad was a miner at the pit where the Stadium of Light is now. Not a lot of choice really.
