Keep Rafa and if the takeover happens or Ashley suddenly decides to spread his arse cheeks and **** money, then we will be challenging for the top 4 within 2 years. That's if.
Despite his form in the Championship I still don't think Mitrovic is the answer to our striker needs, in that I trust Rafa, of course Ashley may very well **** up the good work.
This is comical, some of us just like to be factual and balanced. When someone does well we credit them, when they do badly we criticise them. Thankfully our manager is also in this camp with us, always looking to improve. He understands happy clapping gets you nowhere. I'm glad we've got Rafa in charge and not RobEllious. Otherwise we'd have no chance of continuous improvement. We'd be sat bottom going "its not my fault, I've made no mistakes" Well done Rafa for improving his own performance. Well done Mike Ashley and Lee Charnley for their support and improving their performance too.
And well done Free-Dor for persisting with this line of reasoning when everyone else is taking the piss.
I reckon I had a bit on a moan, mainly about playing Diame (!) but basically have said all along we HAVE to stick with him. Whoever is in charge next season has to make keeping him priority and give him a chance with some good investment. I'm not just talking players either. We've got to invest in the future of the club and get that academy working properly
Likewise. I agree 100% with this. I've said all along I wouldn't sack him. However he still has to be open to criticism as happy clapping is unhealthy. I'll leave that to the simpletons.
"Happy clapping"...what a great term The best "happy clappers" I've seen were a bunch of young Britons in Valetta, Malta a few years back. They just started up from nowhere, bouncing, smiling, clapping and singing. Everyone else just looked. Jesus Loves You. Yeah, sure right.
Said the other day, I've slammed some of his decisions this year, and while I'll stick by those criticisms I will.....bend.......my.........knee.......to..........NO-ONE...ABSOLUTELY ****ING NO-ONE Seriously though, outdone expectation by far this season and credit where it is due he has got the most out of what he has.
You must have a bad back then mate. Bending the knee in the presence of such greatness cleanses the soul.
Criticised when I felt it was right to do so. Some in game management has been questionable, some of his transfer activity is still subject to a bit of scrutiny. But whose isn't? It's our right as fans to challenge what we disagree with, surely.
Apparently not. We have to be like RobEllious that time in Thailand. A lovely looking Asian lady led him to a dimly lit room. She told him anal only and no rubber. He got his micro dick all erect, and started rowing away. It soon became apparent to him that there was a massive nutsack bouncing into his while he got at it (all his mates had realised with the adams apple and enormous hands). He was heard to scream "Rafa is great, I support him blindly, I happy clap all the way, and by the grace of the great spectacled one, I'm busting my nut here!!" He rode that gadgie like sea biscuit.
A good January has helped the manager look good. This try before you buy option seems a sweet one that I guess the porker will want to stay with.
So, as well as channeling the spirit of Fredor, it appears you're also playing the part of Woger as well - are you actually the entire mackem board in disguise....?
There is no way Woger would have been so graphic and detailed. He'd have just said "you ****ed a blokey asian". I am disappointed you have belittled the minimal effort I put into that.
When Rafa can go a season undefeated, conceding less than a goal a game, making a cup Final, he can come sit on my right hand side, until then he's stuck down there with the rest of you. http://fulltime-league.thefa.com/Pr...ectedCompetition=0&psSelectedLeague=542423960
I bent the knee on day one in order to blow Rafa. That’s probably when I contracted this dose of the happy clap.
I remember a lot of people saying how Rafa was daft for wanting to bring in a keeper in January. That's the closest I got to criticising him but ultimately I said I had faith in him because he is quality and knows more than any of us (and, yes, that includes you Pouchy).
