Leeds have been linked to Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe. He is a 29 year old midfield who plays for Olympiacos in the Greek Superleague.

Does the fact that he plays in a Supperleague make him any more exciting?

His pedegree include the mighty Norwich, and was subsequently loaned out to AC Rotherham Utd.

Just shows Norwich have a crap defence too.

Would we be better off with BPF rather than Felix? Possibly as he wouldnt have flapped about trying to punch, but I question the fact that Felix probably saved more goalbound shots than PF would get to. We cant know and to be fair to Felix his shot stopping was excellent it was his pathetic dithering thta did for him

Right I will make a post that can be held against me in the future.

When we get a new manager I always go for the ‘give him the benefit of the doubt’ Routine, as imo it’s bad form to slag off a guy before he’s had a chance. Often I have big doubts (always in fact, over the last 10 years ;). )

That was my approach on PH, and for me the last performance was the end, he has to go.

Mick M is for me different. I genuinely believe he can do the job. If he takes it I will assume Orta is either gone or role changed.

I’ve bored everyone several times with my market values analysis, so I’ll just say this - Ipswich are well above Leeds, not that far off playoff place. And he’s done this with an owner without the proverbial to p in

He’s 59, if he still wants it (I bet he does) and Rad really wants Prem and gives him reasonable funds (I think he does want it) then we really do have a chance

Wouldn't say 2 points is well above Leeds, and way off play -offs 13pts,but other than that, you are nearly right.

Well Elland you gave us the above so I will see your Ofoe and give you:

According to a claim in the Dutch media, FC Utrecht attacking midfielder Zakaria Labyad will turn down the opportunity to sign for Ajax.

Voetbalsnafu have reported Labyad will reject Ajax’s approaches in the summer as he’s keen to play elsewhere. The 25 year old was being lined up to replace Hakim Ziyech at the Johan Cruyff Arena, but is seems the Dutch giants will have to find someone else.

These latest developments could give Leeds United a chance to land Labyad in the next window, with claims their scouts have been impressed by the player when checking up on Mateusz Klich.

Looks like its going to be silly season on here for a while

    Good morning Ell & everyone

I still insist the coaches/managers are not wholly at fault for the demise of our club. I can't think of any other coaches who could work the oracle with the current average bunch of useless, lazy, undisciplined, no bottle, overpaid players at ER, the worst I've seen in a long-time.
Says it all when you see the likes of BPF, O'Connor & Pearce putting in top performances & leading the way, probably because they have desire in their hearts to succeed

The problems lye much deeper within our club, our fans on the terraces know the score as they target their anger at the culprits in the directors box

I don't think Felix saved more goal-bound shots

My problem is that the players who were poor at times are now garbage mostly. Some players have gone backwards and wouldnt get in a L1 side, and the common denominator is the new manager. Cant remember any manager going into a club to turn it around and actually making it worse, but thats what we have in my opinion.

You may be right because strange things happen in football management. Wendies last season unlucky to miss promotion as been high flying for a couple of seasons and spent big cash. This season same players shocking, sack manager who goes to the Prem and turns Swansea season around and keeps them in the prem. What happened at the wendies who had a top manager........ But back on managers Newcastle spent no money so dont deserve to stay in the Prem, but have a great manager who can get the best out of crap and he keeps Newcastle with the big boys and should be manager of the season. We need that type of manager

    Indeed Eire

Not just them though we can do better all round. The likes or Roofe, Lonergan, Cooper, Pennington, Anita, Dallas & O'Kane are not good enough. I know some will disagree with me but we can also do better than Berardi, Phillips, Vieira & Alioski whom I'd retain as back-up players.

Maybe Grot & Ekuban need to go out on loan as they are nowhere near ready for championship football yet

Wiedwald, Lassoga, Sacko, Cibicki & De Bock should catch the next boat home imo!

Thought maybe it was just me that didn't think he saved hardly any shots.
