To be honest although the guy gets on my tits Grayson has probably played into his hands today. Bringing the **** O'Brien on??? He should not even make the bench after his midweek performance. I like Grayson but the mix of having no money and bad gambles and lack of sorting out the defence is going to cost us yet again.

I can't work out why he didn't just try to work with 3 defenders and go out to kill the game off... but then again I didn't see it.

Grayson seems to see something in O'Brien that nobody else can

he's not a ****, just panics a little. You would too under the pressure he's under.

Give him some ****ing money ffs. Give him £5 mill and tell him to clear out the defense and start from ****ing scratch. And get those clowns out of the training staff and get someone competant in.

I don't know if I am honest if I would trust him with £5 million. He found a gem in Clayton, Gradel and Nunez all attacking players but he hasn't hit it right even ONCE with the defence.

Neither has he ever spent any real money on the defense. £200 000 on a defender is a low amount - what were you expecting for such a low price on a man who's about 400 years old? It's clear as day that he's not managed to get the defense sorted because diamonds in the rough are harder to find in that area - if you want presence, quality and leadership you have to ****ing pay for it. But noooo, Blackpool got promoted on **** all so we can too!

I'd rather he were given the 5 mill and the opportunity to blow it on ****e signings than spend it all on a ****ing extension we don't even need. "You can't get loans for players, you can for buildings" **** off you bent old twat, that 7 million was sitting in the ****ing bank.

The outcome of spending £5 mill fixing that god awful defense would either be that it gets fixed and we batter the league without going out of 2nd gear, or we fail miserably and discover that Grayson can't build a good defense (and preserve it - remember, the coaches seem a bit incompetant too) to save his life. This knowledge would allow us to get a new manager who might replace the backroom staff and get more out of the defense that Larry had put together.

It's just that we've spent **** all money and while we're surviving, that won't change, and nor will the manager. Something has to change (and I personally think it's Bates), but it's entirely possible that Grayson isn't the man to take us forward. I give him the benefit of the doubt because it's clear he's not been given the freedom to get the players he wants, so we can't possibly know if he'd have done as **** building a defense if he had been given the required resources.

Lot of sense in that but youre missing one important point like many other people, one change there wont be is bates. Were stuck with him or his clones for many years. Grayson will have to learn to function in the market under batess financial constraints or suffer the consequences unfortunately

I wouldnt advocate getting rid of Grayson ... yet. However if we get feck all points in September, we might have to consider it before we get marooned near the bottom.

That does not mean I can't vent my frustration. I have the right to complain against this doddering old **** of a dictator who can't see he just drains the life out of every ****ing thing he touches and he does it just to spite everyone. "I'll show them!" ****ing stupid old clueless ****. The club will never progress to any decent level until that man is as far away from our club as is possible. He needs to **** off out of our club and stop sucking it dry. It's so freaking obvious to everyone he has some sordid agenda in place to make himself a fat wad of cash at the expense of everyone else - he's done it with literally every single other business he's been in control of - how the hell he ever passed the fit and proper persons test I'll never know.

I'm ****ing sick of it - the life draining effect is hitting the playing staff now.

His real name is Clivetime. Clowntime is a not so affectionate nickname originally coined by oneleedsonefaith, and thanks to help from me, it has caught on to the whole board.
