    No discrace in the percformance atall! well played lads, if we can stop conceding penalties and getting players sent off and maybe get some decent refs in this league then i have no worries about us staying up...

    Fair enough the penalty but come on, did a slightly mistimed challenge by Ruddy when the guy was going away from goal anyway really warrant the double whammy.

    Once again another ignorant **** of a ref ruins a game, that's two weeks running now, ****ing joke the lot of them.

    Fantastic performance by the lads though, we sure had em rattled and if we'd kept eleven on the pitch we'd have taken something from there I'm sure

    We deserved so much better from that, really good performance. One thing's for sure, there's a group of players in yellow who now know for certain that, not only have they earned the right to play in the Prem, but they absolutely belong there!

    Gotta take a lot of positives from that performance - We just know we have to eliminate those bloody defensive errors! These games are hard enough 11 v 11 coupled with our luck with referees.

    Frustrating, we have to stop giving away penalties and getting players sent off. Yes, we have been on the end of shady decisions (Wigan, Stoke) but we shouldn't give the referee's the chance.

    Ramires was going away from goal, Ruddy should have stood up tall and let him run out of play. Tad disappointed to see Ramires already hitting the deck before any contact was made though......

    Think we'll need another 'keeper as back up though. With Ruddy suspended, having to call on Rudd (bit early for him to be first choice) there is a possibility that we could lose Rudd to injury / suspension and have no professional goalkeeper....?

    All in all, we played pretty damn well today (apart from the opening 5-10 mins). Let's just hope we start to see the fruits of our labour.

    Played well, once again a harsh red card has cost us although this one was more understandable than last weeks. Still confident that if we play like this every week we'll stay up.

    As for Chelsea, I'm still not convinced. Struggled last week against WBA and have got out of jail this week thanks to a red card. There'll still be up there at the end of the season though.

    A distinct lack of Chelsea supporters on here, probably embarrassed at the unfairness of today's scoreline! No way were they 2 goals better than us1

    Dave - think you'll find a lot of Chelsea fans will be on their way back from the game!

    why would they be ashamed of winning? They're not the Chelsea of a few seasons ago.

    Having a go at teams is not going to keep you up. it nearly worked for Blackpool but they were a different class to your side.

    Their players are a lot more skillful and dangerous than your own. They can let you come onto them and defend properly and then finish one or two chances that come their way. Porto had a go at Barca last night but it doesn't mean Barca are embarrassed to have won, and it doesn't mean Porto deserved it - Barca only had a few efforts but they were coasting!

    We are due some luck this season, and we know for a fact that Lambert will not let this result effect our confidence next week. I expect the players will take out there frutration from the last few matches and put on a real show next week. And now Holt is off the mark, I expect him to go back to his usual self and score regularly
