Couple of years away from the next international tournament could be enough to convince jwp to stay for a year. That and the armband. In reality i would think he'll be off and that would be a big shame.
We are gone. We were gone weeks ago. Utter ineptitude right across the board from owner to chairman, director of football to head of recruitment, to Mauricio Pellegrino. How on earth that man was ever allowed 30 (THIRTY) games this season is a disgrace. Shambles. Serious questions need to be asked and answered this summer and very, very swiftly. (I’m not one for hyperbole but the above is all true)
This. Anyone with half a brain could see Pellegrino was a fraud. Sure we have shipped goals the last couple of games, but we look better under Hughes already. Heartbreaking how avoidable it was.
Why do you and others feel the need to name call? Pellegrino wasn’t a fraud, he simply wasn’t good enough for the job and out of his depth. He was offered a good, well paid job that he probably shouldn’t have been, that’s all. No need to call the man a fraud.
Because he was stealing a living. He should have resigned when he knew he was out of his depth instead of dooming us to relegation by pretending to know what he was doing. If I was that inept at my job, I would have quit.
To be fair to the board, they did spend 19 million on a striker. It just turned out he was the second coming of Ali Dia as Pellegrino doesn’t know much about scouting players either
Well quite. If someone isn’t doing their job properly they normally get feedback from their bosses pretty quick in my experience!

If Fulham go up, they will surely bid for him, I will be gutted to see him leave personally but I could fully understand why he might want to. Certain sections of SMS have never warmed to him, very unfairly in my view.
Not sure we were gone weeks ago, there were still winnable games. We are clear favourites now but whilst still mathematically possible the we shouldn't give up, on the past 2 performances, the players haven't. I am sure there are plenty of questions, poor decisions have been made, swiftly or not the important thing is we make the right decisions going forward. We can't be another Sunderland. Need to plan rebuild according to where we are.
