Indeed. Hughes is showing that you can still score with a back five, as Ron also showed (albeit Ron had vastly superior players to work with). Unlike how MP utilised the back five - when it was just sticking everyone in our penalty box, and hoping to somehow get through 90 minutes.
Big club bias. People say it doesn’t exist but it clearly does. Refs in this league are spineless. At least 5 points dropped from refereeing decisions now.
FWIW I didn't give us a prayer of getting anything out of the last 2 games , but to be leading both and lose ESP today's result , it matters not one jot who we play , our confidence is totally shot .
Other results went against us and even with the games in hand; 2 wins would would not see us climbing out of the drop zone. Fat lady still singing but shes getting a little hoarse...
Well you got that right then coz we’re virtually done after those results. Personally and I’m sure the majority would have been quite happy if some or all of our rivals had ****ed up today. Cheers.
Strangely, I'm quite looking forward to the championship. We have been ****ed since December and the blame lies with les reed and the people that surround him.
