Could it be RHC was correct about the little blighters! https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...an-castle-scotland-part-closure-a8303811.html
Her big lead would've obviously been smaller in a world field but her indoor win was in a better field, so it's possible her move to France and new training team has improved her game. It's hard to say but she was steadier in long jump, which has lost it for her on more than one previous occasion. She was down on her PB but shouldn't have been expected to better that, given some lingering exhaustion from the indoor event and a calf injury kicking in. Overall, a step forward and seems to have gotten a grip on the mental side.
what did she do in high jump? she's an international class high jumper adding other sports to her best one to go for this imo.
Will we get back to Keeping Up With The Kolliders then? This reality series has been a bit **** lately.
She would've won gold in the Olympic individual high jump in Rio with her 1.98 and she broke the British indoor record with 1.97, so the Commonwealth 1.87 was down, like her overall performance, which was possibly part exhaustion and part lack of better competition.
yeah.... kind of says it about the comps in general. rio wasn't great as i recall lots of failures in high jump.
There were some world records broken in the Commonwealth Games, so the competition wasn't missed there.
