Goes into that dusty old cabinet alongside the odd league cup, the Vodacom Challenge 2007, the Swaziland trophy challenge and the "We Put Pressure On" cup.

Ok thank you that is helpful buddy. As you are 17 points behind Man City does that mean your title challenge this year is, by your own reckoning, disgraceful?

One second, I'll dig up all of Spurs glorious history, for you... hang out....

    Football League Champions: 1950/1951, 1960/1961

    Over fifty years ago! Whodathunkit?

    The FA Cup Winners: 1900/1901, 1920/1921, 1960/1961, 1961/1962, 1966/1967, 1980/1981, 1981/1982, 1990/1991

Last one was in 1991. *Two thumbs way way up*

    Football League Cup Winners: 1970/1971, 1972/1973, 1998/1999, 2007/2008

Nearly a decade since that last trophy. Getting warmer though.

    European Cup-Winners Cup Winners: 1962/1963
    UEFA Cup Winners: 1971/1972, 1983/1984

Pretty impressive European record there. Unfortunately it was before the advent of Modern Football as we know it <laugh>

Football League Division Two Champions: 1919/1920, 1949/1950
    FA Charity Shield Winners: 1920/1921, 1951/1952, 1961/1962, 1962/1963, 1967/1968 (joint), 1981/1982 (joint), 1991/1992 (joint)

Now on to the real stuff:

    Southern League Champions: 1899/1900
    Western League Champions: 1903/1904
London League Premier Division Champions: 1902/1903
Football League South 'C' Division Champions: 1939/1940
Football League South Champions: 1943/1944, 1944/1945
Southern District Charity Cup Winners: 1901/1902, 1904/1905 (joint), 1906/1907
    Dewar Shield Winners: 1901/1902, 1933/1934
London Challenge Cup Winners: 1910/1911, 1928/1929
    Anglo-Italian League Cup-Winners Cup Winners: 1971/1972
    Norwich Charity Cup Winners: 1919/1920
Norwich Hospital Charity Cup Winners: 1946/1947, 1949/1950 (joint)
Ipswich Hospital Charity Cup Winners: 1951/1952 (joint)
Costa Del Sol Tournament Winners: 1965, 1966
    Nolia Cup (Sweden) Winners: 1977
    Japan Cup Winners: 1979
Sun International Challenge Trophy (Swaziland) Winners: 1983
    Peace Cup (Korea) Winners: 2005
Vodacom Challenge (South Africa) Winners: 2007
Feyenoord Jubileum Tournament (Holland) Winners: 2008
Barclays Asia Trophy (China) Winners: 2009

Will you look at that!! I'm envious!

  5. No.

Let me help you out, here, Haslam/Stan.

    Spurs' challenge is derisory.

'Pool's is half-arsed or laughable, depending on whether or not we finish above them.

Chelsea's is disgraceful, as they are current champions.

    Arsenal's is contemptible.

    Leicester's is simply non-existent.

You appear to be not very bright, but are you beginning to get the hang of this?

HIAG can’t even add the HIAG v PISKIE cup to his list of imaginary trophies as he’s lost every contest :)

Arsenal have won more league titles at Tottenham's ground than Tottenham have in their entire history ;)

<laugh> Yay ... we get a mention ... and we weren't even expecting to challenge for the title ... that title win of ours still hurts you, doesn't it Quentin?

We do look like we'll finish higher than we did last season Quents. Spurs are looking like they won't. Wouldn't that constitute a downward spiral for Spurs, Quents? ... you tend to think it does for other teams. Asking for a friend <cheers>

My guess is that they won the league once at WHL and as Tottenham haven't won the Premiership and football didn't exist pre-Sky this particularly tenuous nugget has been cobbled together.

So in black and white, and then again in colour.

Colour was out in 1971. If you want a black and white title you have to go back another decade to spurs’ last title in 1961

    So 57 years and counting.

Since that year how many insignificant titles have Arsenal won?<whistle>
