The worst thing he said was that Grot and Lasogga were diabolical, and (both?) didn’t even warm up properly before coming on. Anyone else see that? They should **** off now if that is true, shows lack of respect to fans, club and manager (in that order). But PH seems to me to be dead meat if he plays people who can’t be arsed. He should know not to have them on the bench even, by now. Pleased with the 3 young lads though
When the best performers were 3 kids you just know the 1st team have no confidence in the manager. The kids are wanting to show they are good enough, the 1st teamers have had enough. They will feign injury or get suspended rather than play. Lassoga, Grot and Ekuban should never wear a Leeds shirt again. Time now surely for Edmondson, Clarke, Machuca, Dalby to rip it up. Any one of these kids score goals and in Dalby and Edmondson you will see power. When PH landed everyone got behind him and all of us thought he must be special because we paid cash for him. I gave him 7 games and saw he had done nothing but take certain players backwards. I saw players used who were never good enough, I saw players out if position when players for those positions were available elsewhere in the club. Anita isnt a full back nor is Dallas. 13 games in we are a sorry sight. Sorry but facts hurt, his stats are the worst ever and it seems whatever he tries to do only makes it worse. He should fall on his sword for the good of the club. He is now being hounded by fans, his pressers are riddled with questions about his job, every pundit is wondering if he will see out the season. Can anyone come back from this?
Totally agree with you here. Would be interesting to see if PH were cut any more slack if he just left them out and played a couple of kids from the off. Trouble is I doubt it, he outed the German clown in goal (agree with Eire’s post last night, I too was wondering how many more points we could have had if BPF had played all season) but his points per game is mentioned daily (all over not just here).

Main offenders for me were Lasogga, Ekuban and Grot. Sais also has a bad attitude but probably was trying. Other players like Dallas are obviously no good but that’s in the position they are given. Don’t know if Phillips is not good enough or not trying - the first is fairly certain though. Agree with conclusions on PH though. He could have played players who would have run their socks off, instead he brings on lazy non trying rubbish. Time to go.
I’m not defending Lasogga but - he’s on 50k a week, he’s only done ok at best, we are not going up - so there’s no way we are going to take him on with a contract. Plus he has whatever personality he has - PH should know perfectly well if he puts him on as a sub he’s not going to give a **** That for me finally say PH must go
TC played Anita at full back. TC kept faith in Weidwald when he was blatantly garbage. Millwall at home could have been the stuff of legends, 10 men turning around a two goal deficit but TC asked the players at half time to let him know if they were tired (top motivation that and certainly not what I would have said to them if I was let in that dressing room at half time). I left the ground (not knowing about the half time chat) absolutely spitting with TC, taking off Roofe and PML and putting Hernandez up front alone. If memory serves me correctly, he even brought the big Dutch pudding on and put him in midfield to try and hold on when we were on top I was spitting not because it was Millwall but because that game could have been won and some momentum gained when it was desperately needed because we were sliding badly. I don’t feel sorry for PH, I am sure he will be handsomely rewarded for failure or success. I don’t care if players like Grot and Lasogga don’t like him because they are not playing but can’t go on holiday yet. I don’t care about his points per game, after we lost to Birmingham in December I knew in my heart we weren’t good enough to think about promotion. As soon as we couldn’t go down I stopped bothering about that (maybe why I don’t let it depress me). I do care that some of the kids have been given a chance and would love to see a few more come in and smash it. I would be open minded to PH being here next year. Not too fussed either way but the summer clearout will be far more important, starting with those that won’t play for the manager, says more about them than it does about him.
Morning all. On last nights showing we have the best goalie we have had in years. I don't know who signed these kids but Bailey,O'Conner,and Pierce on present day prices are worth £30 million now.
For PH to survive he really needs to drop a load of 1st teamers and replace them with kids. The fans would get behind the kids win lose or draw. We have a player in Cibicki who has been ignored completely yet given one game in the U23s as a striker he scores 2 goals then vanishes completely. With the lack of strike power why has he been ignored as he could also play wing meaning Roofe, Alioski or Saiz could have gone up front. Alioski, Cibicki and Saiz have played up front and scored for previous clubs, indeed Alioski has done it and International level.. Making big decisions and dropping Grot, Lassoga, Ekuban and anyone else who has failed. (Phillips for not looking in a mirror) The players like Pearce, Edmondson, Dalby, Machuca, Hossanah, Clarke and a few more are deserving of a place as many in the 1st team are not. Even if those kids are getting beat the fans will be right behind them and its the only way for PH to know who will be in the 1st team squad next season and the only way PH can sirvive
The thing that annoyed me more than anything under PH is the performance points awarded by the YEP and media in general. In all my years with this club I have never seen so many players get 3, 4 or 5 points. This happens every game and the top player usually has a 6 or a 7. Even after a bad performance we usually only see a couple of really bad performers but under PH in every game even the 2 we won we have a majority on low points. Why is that? is it because the manager has played them out of position? is it because they refuse to do what the manager has asked them to do, or is it because they are doing what the manager wants them to do? Common denominator PH and last night and on Tuesday it looks like some players have had enough of PH
You were doing so well till you said you were open minded if ph is still here next season. He is evidence of Rad trying to succeed even more cheaply than the previous crook owners. Whilst he is here we go nowhere. The entire set up needs wiping out and starting again. Rad and Orta have fecked it up that badly and it was obvious as early as September. Do you actually think any of the current squad or management team will be at a Leeds team in the top division? Please note I said think not hope, they are not the same things.
Don’t be bringing everyone into it. Some of us knew ph was a **** appointment made by a failed senior management team that are clueless. If ph stays we will be relegated next year even if we spent £50mill. He is clueless and only had his short term success at Barnsley because he inherited some playing talent.
