Holding Poetry at Essex House
Course I'm ****ing looking
No experience no qualifications
Show some nouse

Stood in line with uncle Jimmy
Thrown out with him too
Asking what he can do?
Kill Germans, he was on the Rodney!

Go to kardomah 94
Go back to the dole in 82
No one told me it would get better
Thank **** it did.

 

I don't want to be rude, and I hope you can take some constructive criticism bud, but that's pretty rubbish as poems go, and you're supposed to be the pro.

 

Listen my two boys

Put down your old toys

And get off your

Bums and come

To a night of real culture

At a venue without vulture

That can spoil your evening

Of fun... Sorry I'm tired
Best I can do

 

Ha ha ha

 

I have arse ache
Neck ache
And arm ache
Cannot work out
Where they all came from

 

The stairs and our lass may have something to do with it.. B-ach !!!!

 

It's maybe the damp,
or perhaps writers cramp,
it's possibly industrial injury.
Don't think it's a sin
to drink gallons of gin
and turn from complaining and whingery.

 

Well it's been fun
but I really must run,
as this looks like a game I can't win
I'm playing a pro
but I gave it a go,
but I'm no contest to Den and his Gin.

 

I tell you what, there's a side line in birthday cards going begging on here.

 

The sore neck, the arse and the arm

Could easily of been explain without Any harm

But As I fell on this drunken night occasion

With a wife unhappy of my lateness duration

She used her plastic Percy substitute

In an area with several hanging beetroot

The last word she spoke before i passed out

Now see if YOU like it up your arse you drunken lout.

I only read about the first six, I had to shoot off so didn’t get chance

 

No worries, the first four the the other end I’m trying to make into a play.
I’ve got a cpl of drama groups looking it over, my just turn out to be a
Play based on my poems but anything is better than nothing ha ha.

Not long before bed
but it's often been said

they'll take their reprise
as their cheek is so pleasantly bold...
