Round two, words which most AJ opponents never get to hear. Tremendous efforts by one or two and it's going to be extremely difficult to pick a winner for you voters out there. The dross has gone and we are now left with the creme de la creme. You now get the chance to vote for who wins this prestigious, non amateurish game and see who picks up the accolade of Headline Writer of the week ('ish). Who has fallen short and really is a Whitley Bay Guardian employee and who has the talent to entice a bigger and more demanding Gruniard reader? Who managed to sum up the game in one short, pithy headline much better than anyone else? Who has caught the Public's perception of the Game and captured that in their Headline? Who is asking all these questions again? Let's get the Public's final say The rules are as before but if you are ACS then you can read the rules twice...read the rules twice 1. You only have one vote. 2. You cannot vote for yourself. 3. You are voting for the BEST headline. 4. On this occasion you can change your vote. 5. If there is a tie I will have the deciding vote against which there is no appeal or whining. My decision is based on all relevant factors that I think are relevant. Votes by Thursday 12/04/2018. May the best headline win.
It's with sadness in my heart I have to announce That this competitions winner is and opportunity knocks for I'm finding this extremely difficult to get through but not as much as No Chance who genuinely thought he had a chance to win but that has actually cheered me up as No Chance did actually vote for the "winner" thereby depriving himself of a tie but again not as much as it has cheered Pouchy and Chippy Anyway the "winner" is that Manc supporting emigrant Jak seen at a recent Man U game (centre picture bobble hat on at 4 secs) celebrating his victory here upon hearing the news.
I would never stoop so low as to not vote for the second best headline - even if it did deprive me of the win I would have achieved on a less uncouth board!! #integrity
