I cannot wait to see that horrible club go down. Relegation isn't enough - administration, points deduction and ultimately liquidation would be a fitting piece of karma. The fact that a sizeable section of their fans still believe that Adam Johnson got a raw deal and did nothing wrong is enough.
Think they'll get a stay of execution this weekend again even if they lose. Barnsley and Bolton are gonna take points off each other this weekend and Birmingham aren't likely to beat Bolton so it's gonna rumble on another week I feel. Would be hilarious if Mitro finally condems them !!
I see they are still banging on about 6 in a row. Quiet about the fact that it took them 28 years to finally beat us on Wearside. Now that is a record that will never be broken.
I'd like Bolton to beat Barnsley. It would put them on 42 points and another team out of Sunkland's reach you'd have to think.
So presumably if / when the go into Administration, then that's all the records wiped clean and they'll be starting with a clean slate as they won't be the same business/club any more??
If Bolton win and the mackems lose, then that basically leaves them chasing Birmingham who are on 40 points (assuming they don't get anything from Wolves) - 7 points adrift with 3 games to go. Then Burton to potentially hammer the nail into the coffin - although as someone said the other day, it would be lovely if Mitro could score for Fulham and send them down...
There is a (very very unlikely) scenario where Mitro could actually be the one to keep them up, with Birmingham playing Fulham on the last day of the season. Then again, he could also find himself through on goal in the last minute, ready to grab a winner, only to unexpectedly kick the keeper in the bollocks instead of putting the ball in the net - and in one simple act send the mackems down and prove that Rafa was right about his temperament and is in fact a god for letting him go out on loan.
I'd like to think he would round the keeper, sky the ball into the stands and then reveal a T-shirt saying "Accrington Stanley - Who are they?"
To be perfectly honest, living where I live, some good friends are red and white. But for every five of them, there's one horrible bastard who despises Newcastle more than he likes Sunderland. I never, ever take the piss out of the decent ones, but that one horrible bastard, I want him to suffer. Daily.
