Can anyone honestly say, in their heart of hearts....all bullshit virtue signalling aside, can anyone say they really give a solitary **** that some guy in the middle east used chemicals to attack some other Syrians?

There are far worse atrocities that go on elsewhere,on a daily basis, and I dont see the UK and US looking to jump in and sort out the atrocities in Saudi Arabia or North Korea.

We should keep our noses out of this ****, it doesn't concern us.
Instead of spending millions going to war, why not fix our ****ing health service, or increase the police budget so we actually have a police presence in London, so the crime rate doesnt keep ****ing sky rocketing.
**** Syria and everyone in it.

While we are at it, who gives a **** that Hitler exterminated 6 million people? We had other issues in London at the time such as Tommy who was hooked on opioids and living in a coal bunker with a pigeon.

    **** the world, BNP!!!!

    <laugh>

I would hardly compare Assad's transgressions to Genocide <doh>

Funny thing is, a lot of the same morons calling for war will be the same ones moaning about refugees when we drone strike half of Syria and make hundreds of thousands of people homeless.

Fact is, Saudi Arabia and North Korea have far worse human rights abuse records than anything Assad has done. Yet no one seems to give a **** about that.
    Be consistent in your outrage.

Where have I approved or condoned things happening anywhere else? You seem to think that we should just ignore it on the basis of worse things happening elsewhere. Do you know what being hit with chemical agent feels like out of interest?

By your logic let's just ignore domestic violence because there are people being raped and murdered.

It's no wonder you have the reputation you do on this board Bod, seriously, this is basic stuff. Just go to bed.

No, you are having trouble understanding.

Why are people outraged about Syria?
Yet no one seems to give a **** about people being stoned to death for nothing in Saudi Arabia.
Why are you the UK and US governments not looking to intervene against Saudi Arabia?
Do you think Trump gives a **** about Syrians being gassed?
You honestly dont think there is an ulterior motive?

I freely admit, I do not give a **** what happens in Syria, or to Syrians. I really dont.
Maybe if we spent less time over there bombing the **** out of them, impressionable young lunk heads in the UK wouldn't become radicalised and start bombing kiddy concerts.

Whilst I agree with what you’ve said I think everything is calculated by the yanks.

Iraq gave them control of a lot of oil.

Afghanistan gave them control of one of the biggest uranium deposits in the world. It also gave them control of most of the worlds opium.

Lybia more oil and access to the coast for gas and oil pipeline. Syria is next in line to go through to give access of the pipeline. My understanding which may be wrong is both countries were siding with Russia for a different route for the pipeline enabling Russia to do it instead of the Americans and Saudis.

Think Greece and turkey are also instrumental in this as both have a lot to gain from it so both seem to be playing both sides.

Read an article a while ago about how dependency on oil and gas has held the world back technologically by a hundred years. Where systems and technologies that would make our dependency on oil etc are being crushed by companies that control all the oil.

Pretty certain that Elon musks grandfather invented something that could power a city and was all destroyed in a robbery in his apartment in America.

Honestly I'm with bod in terms of leaving Syria alone.

I'm not even convinced he gassed his own people.

We have already made a mess of 2 countries (Libya and Iraq, Afghanistan had always been a mess) why we adding Syria to that pile.

We have no exit strategy or long term plans and I'm pretty sure everything was running alright (the minorities were alright anyway) before we plonked our fat noses in it and let isis run riot

Israel has the most to gain by starting a war over there. They want Syria and Iran out of their way.

You always get the feeling these things are false flag operations. Why would Assad who has basically won need to gas people. Makes no sense.

I aint convinced either, but even if he did, I still dont know why the UK feels it is its place to intervene with other nations and start beating our chest.
**** em, let them run their own uprising.

Absoutely agree. Leave Syria alone! I believe 75 people were killed in that chemical attack, how many more people will be killed if we or any other country takes military action. We can't even manage policing our own Cities let alone the rest of the world, this year alone, there has been 35 people fatally stabbed in London, we need to get off this warmonger machine of the Media. There are worse atrocities happening in DRC but the world don't squeak. Probably because Syria creates 10,000 more barrels of oil per day than the latter and that no one gives a shhite about Central Africa, whereas in the region of Syria everyone wants to control the oil, let alone the religious significance of neighbouring countries...it's not our business and keep out i say, this is not about the people this is about super powers wanting to control areas and using us as their puppets.

    Agree 100%
We cant fund our NHS, so god knows how many UK citizens will needlessly die in the next few years due to an inadequate health service, yet our government want to spend millions going to war with the Middle east because some guy over there may or may not have used chemical weapons in his own country against a couple dozen of his own people. **** em.

I give a **** about people being gassed by chemical weapons.

However, is the solution to launch a load of state of the art fireworks at targets that they’ve given the Syrians and Russians 3 day’s advance warning to clear?

Is it ****, it’s nothing more than political grandstanding and will no doubt be used by Trump to bury some domestic news that he wants to divert attention away from.

Anyone who thinks this is serious military intervention as opposed to tokenism that suits more than one purpose is naive

So maybe instead of sending a bunch of our kids and tens of millions of pounds worth of equipment 2000 miles away to fight and possibly die in some other peoples war.....maybe we should increase police spending in our captial and/or give the NHS a much needed cash injection.

So what happens when we bomb **** out of Syria and kill Assad ?

The friendly freedom fighters Al-Nusra aka ISIS will be given the keys and absolutely no revenge will be taken against the majority aka Assad's supporters ?

How anyone can side with the radical Jihadists against Assad is astonishing .

The only proof of chemical attacks is the testimony from the white helmets a shamelessly pro ISIS Western funded group that have been caught staging fake news reports with crisis actors multiple times .
No UN scientists or investigstors have been anywhere near the so called crime scene the media and Governments are just pushing the propogander so idiots watch Kay Burley whilst having their corn flakes staring at the telly shouting about bombing the bastard .

Some have proven on here that they fell for this yet again hook line and sinker .
