Can't see Arsenal beating Atletico whether it's in the final or over two legs.

“Harry is on the up, but that can change. He’s got to keep going. If you want to play for Liverpool, you’ve got to be consistent, you’ve got to do it game in, game out.

“The race is on for them to try and be a permanent fixture in our squad and to put pressure on the players in front of them. It’s a tough ask but that’s why they’re at Liverpool.”

    Neil Critchley u23s manager

obviously if the guy can say the player has caught klopp's eye to the echo then theres been conversations in the regular meetings.

hull are 10 points off relegation with 4 games to go so loans done the job.

Ejaria at sunderland, not the desired impact there. I couldn't beleive they went for him as their only move on deadline day.

The unlikely Liverpool transfer secret behind Reds' free-scoring success has been identified
Former Liverpool star Paul Ince thinks he identified the secret to the Reds' incredible attacking displays of late - the January departure of Philippe Coutinho.
The attacking midfielder ended a long-running transfer saga by moving to the Nou Camp for a £142million fee in the first week of the last transfer window.
Instead of using those funds to boost his attacking options, boss Jurgen Klopp opted to rely on his current crop of talent.
Klopp's faith has been rewarded with Mo Salah and his teammates lighting up pitches at home and away since - especially in the Champions League in which Liverpool are the competition's top scorers.
All of which means Liverpool's stunning showings in the attacking third can be tracked back to Coutinho's move to Barcelona, says Ince.
Ince told Paddy Power: “When you look at Liverpool’s recent performances, they’re on another planet to the rest of the league in terms of balance and having the right mix in the team.
“The amazing thing is, that’s is all of the back of Philippe Coutinho leaving.
“Everyone thought that when he left that it would weaken Liverpool – but it’s actually strengthened them!
“That’s because they were probably too reliant on the Brazilian. Everything had to go through him. With him out of the picture, other people have stepped up and not just Mo Salah.
“Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all have showed they’re not in Coutinho’s shadow.
“It’s much more of a team effort now, rather than it being all about one player.
“Yes, Salah is the standout man and that’s obvious, but every one of them puts a shift in.”

    TBH thats muck but whatever.

The thing thats happened actually is that mane has improved his poor form. some might say thats cos coutinho is not there and i say whatever to that.

Salah's goal scoring rate hasn't dramatically improved, firmino's has not either.

I think perosnally he's a bit of a fool for saying everythign went through coutinho but given he gave us 12 goals and 9 assists before christmas I think we've just continued the same form.

Jeez win a CL QF and they all come out of woodwork.

In case he didn't notice we put the same shift in before coutinho left!

1.9 ppg in league prior to coutinho leaving (20 games). 2.1ppg in 13 games since he left. (2 loses one draw)

by the end of the season it could all be evened out.

Like we lost in fa cup 4th round without coutinho whehre were these players then.
we lost in league cup 3rd round to leicester with coutinho. same players were there then.

Silly argument. just trying to jump in on good feeling and everyone wanting to move on.

coutinho is long gone. we could have used him v everton i suppose <laugh> next year we will be buying a couple polayers to replace him. Maybe if we bring wilson in as wide forward and suso back for 35mil that'd do it <laugh>

Imagine 142mil out. 35mil in. Could we finally throw up that goddamn stand please

Selling Coutinho has turned out to be a blessing in disguise . Most pundit thought we are going to miss him, I am not sure we are
going to be higher in the league with him.

Who you guys hoping to get in the CL semi?
Just been saying that , if I were Pool, i'd be hoping to get Bayern tbh.
I think over two legs they would be your easiest opponent.
You could beat Roma or Real in a one off game, like the final, but over two legs I think Bayern would be the easiest imo.
Honestly think Roma are the best team we have played this season, very good side. Their defence is awesome.

Yup, bit of extra incentive as well.
Being a former Dortmund man, Klopp will relish the chance to get one over on Bayern

Roma are dangerous and will be flying after their win over Barcelona, I think they and their fans will be as up for it as we are.
Bayern just strike me as being a bit slow, old and stale tbh. Having said that they are still quality.
Madrid have a lot of quality and improved as the season has gone on, they arent the team that Tottenham beat anymore.

    Agree with all of that.
I think your best bet would be to get Bayern in the semis and then chance it against one of Roma or Real in the final if you get through.
But over two legs, I definitely think Bayern would be the best outcome for you guys.

The pace you guys have in your team, and the lack of pace Bayern have, with their ageing team, I think you could cause them some real problems.

only a maybe... it was tight tbh. Last january 2nd wasn't really on. we were fighting spurs for 4th.

since then chelsea have imploded. we get a look at 2nd but won't get it unless cheslea implode

Spurs are likely to be 3rd so we will be 4th.

IMO would we have won the 2 games we lost or the everton game?

    impossible to say.

we lost fa cup 4th round too.

tbh mate I think theres swings and roundabouts with them all

Our game is to attack and press and be intense.

Not one of them will like it.. in the main its possible for all 3 to hurt us so I really don't care which. I would agree we should trouble bayern but they can should as they have some brillinat players too.

I am hoping for bayern. I feel that we are capable of exploiting their weaknesses plus there's the klopp factor.

I am wary of Roma, partly because they are better than they look, and i feel that the history of that fixture could work against us particularly if we are away in the 2nd leg.

Would prefer to play Real in a one off game than over two legs

    I agree.
But against Real you will see far less of the ball, and against Roma, they love that ****, they will soak that up and hit you on the counter.
I just think your style of play will work best against Bayern.

Tough draw but the good thing for them is that they won’t have any reason for complacency. Marseille would have been tough too.
