There is zero evidence of chemical attacks on the rebels.
Assad has already won there would be no point in using Sarin gas on the ISIS stragglers left.

This is exactly the same script as the other regime changes only this time Russia aren't letting the Yanks get away with it .

I just don't get the 'we beat ISIS' ****. That was clearly Russia who have done that.

A British lad out in Syria with the YPG said that the US and Russian special forces share a base together over there. Go figure.

They'll be no US and Russia conflict.

This pretty much sums it up.

If it can be proven beyond doubt that Assad has used chemical weapons on his own people then it cannot be allowed to go unchallenged.

The problem with scumbag dictators, like Assad, is that they’re quite happy to use their own people as a shield/deterrent. So, as brb says, if military retaliation is coming it must be very carefully targeted so that the very people we are supposedly helping do not suffer more carnage as a result.

I would argue that it can.
Since I dont give a **** about Syrians.
Honestly, who gives a ****? Why is it our job to intervene?
Wow he used a chemical attack against other syrians, erhma gehrd!

What about the constant human rights abuses from places like Saudi Arabia?
They treat certain members of their populace as sub human, stoning gay people, publicly flogging women who have been deemed to bring shame to their husbands etc
Assad has used chemical attacks before, why is it such an outrage this time?
At least be consistent in our outrage.
What about North Korea? The Kim regime is starving the populace, those people live in a police state under constant scrutiny, with no rights, no due process.
Yet we are all up in arms about Syria.

Syria has something we want, and this chemical attack bullshit is an excuse.
The US will not stop till they topple Assad's regime, one way or another, and it has nothing to do with his human rights record, thats just an excuse.
We need to STOP sending our boys over to fight in these middle eastern deserts for no good ****ing reason.
Honestly, who can say they give a ****? Is it worth dying for?
    Bunch of virtue signalling crap.

I very doubt that any of our boys will be sent there over this. Any action will be from a distance.

North Korea is a powder keg, firstly. Secondly, if any military action were taken against them they would immediately retaliate by attacking the South. So, it’s basically the same situation as Assad using his own people as a shield.

In my view, if Assad can be shown conclusively to have used chemical weapons against the civil population it cannot go unchallenged.

To my knowledge, Saudi does not use chemical weapons on its own civilians.

No they just brutally and publicly bludgeon their people to death for the "crime" of being homosexual, much better <ok>

Why do we have no money for our NHS, or for school lunches, or for Disabled people, yet they can always find money to go to ****ing war.
Never any trouble finding the funds for that is there....

Did our blunders into the middle east with Iraq teach us nothing?

Leave them the **** alone, let them deal with their own ****.

Maybe then you wouldn't get so many of their sympathisers over here looking to blow up kids at concerts or set bombs off on trains.

Corbyn doesn't give a **** about Assad, or Trump, neither should May.

Say what you want about Corbyn, he is a pussy when it comes to certain stances he should have on certain issues, but he wont be dragging our country into YET MORE pointless incursions in the Middle East, where we are not wanted or needed.
