Read it again - slowly, this time, Pix - and you will readily discover that, in fact, it is you who has ****ed up, mate. You do walk into these things.
It was only CSKA , didn’t expect much different mate. Fully expected you to go through even when you were playing poorly.
Prem wanted new kick offs for primetime television after signing the new tv deal, gonna become a regular thing next season (or the one after, can't remember exactly).
Sky had said they were gonna start Sat night football. This must be the first game? I don’t think it’s a very good idea. Most people are out somewhere on a Sat night and it’ll cause millions of domestic arguments. And as Piskie says, by the time fans get out of the ground it’ll probably be gone 10 pm, and for City fans who actually live in Manchester it’s gonna be a long day.
Leicester United earlier in the season was a late ko too I believe. ****ing ****e for the fans though and long term I think will cause more problems in the ground.
I think the reason for that was because sky were blubbering about missing their super Sunday slots (Sunday being Xmas eve) so they had to fit more games in to the Saturday to get their live fixtures in
I'm looking forward to it...great time if you're sat at home having a Spliff. There's something about match attending fans that gets on my nerves whenever they have a complaint. They need to learn to vote with their feet and boycott the things they don't quite like. Best form of protest but they won't do it will they, they'll fill every game to the rafters anyway and just complain about it through every other outlet possible.
If you're season ticket holders then I bet you normally miss a game or two in the course of a season anyway...turn your back and dont pass your tickets on...that'll make a sizeable hole in the stadium..but they won't do it will they? They are still going to go and contribute to all the resulting issues they are complaining about
Isn't that a bit like moaning about players getting paid obscene wages but still paying for sky and by broadband?
Unfortunately this is the reality of premier league football these days. Hoards of fans are staying away from the Emirates at the moment in protest, but the club don't give a **** because those seats are already sold and there's another 80k on the waiting list if fans don't renew. And that's without the Corporate and Day tripper issue.
