This was about eating out. Tea is something you have at home. Do you and Lambo ring up Pipe and Glass and say you would like to book a table for tea on Saturday night? And tell people going on a cruise not to forget their tea jacket?

    Lunch is not dinner.

Actually the two were interchangeable. Though it is generally accepted in more civilised areas that when you eat out on a night you are going out to dinner.

The new Papa's is nearing completion (so you'll be able to get you dinner there soon. At lunchtime)...

Look forward to that. When I'm in Hull I often go to Minerva for fish n' chips and a few beers, I'll go to Papa's now, and Minerva afterwards of course.

I had a beetroot salad on a chopping board in their before sesh last year.

Family I was with looked at me like I was strange when ordering.

When it came out everyone, including the strangers on the next table, were in awe.

It was lovely and I didn't share

Always take an additional shellsuit just in case "El Capitano" invites you to join him for tea.

Food served on random bits of **** like roof slates, builders shovels, scaffold boards, painters buckets, plasterers hawks or bog seats does my ****ing head in.

I want a plate, and for fish and chips some paper, not a box.

Anybody have any idea what’s happening on Kingswood between Chiquitos and the Harvester? Looks like something else is being built opposite the new Nando’s.

It just wouldn't have tasted as nice on paper.
And everyone else's fish and chips was on a plate.

You'd ****ing hate it in there.

Is it just me that's a bit tired of hearing this exact opinion? Everyone seems to be trotting it out lately. It's really not the pandemic people are making out.

For any Culture Club fans tickets are priced at £75 (including booking fee) to see them at the new Hull Venue...£20 more than other venues on the same tour! Shameful really!

To put that into perspective I've paid £90 to see the Rolling Stones and I thought that was too much...
