Yes, i believe damaged parts can be replaced for safety reasons so I would expect Mcalren can fit replacement bodyowrk
Well I've decided to not get involved in this ramming debate because it looks to be getting hot after the stewards have a little chat with both drivers. They might not be able to fix it until Sunday... F1 times say they might not be allowed to fix it as nobody knows the extent of damage or rules etc...
Wow what a series of events today guys, Michael starting right at the back tomorrow... Senna showing us why he is a "Senna" boy, Maldonado getting angry...Button starting 13th.. Force India slumping... and the Redbull's defending against the qualifying king. We are in for a good race tomorrow.
On another funny note, Alonso wants Perez penalized for holding him up the whole qualifying sessions. Lol Ferrari will surely not ruin their own youth products race day...
Some surprising results and, unfortunately some not-so surprising results (Goldfinger gets pole again). Well done to Senna, Alguersuari (got me more good points) and Massa (outqualifying Alonso).
lol. He blocked Alonso in FP2 as well. Alonso should let it go. It's not like he will benefit from a Perez penalty.
ha ha. Won't get very far with that one. Both were on flying laps. He seemed to have a bee in his bonnet for the whole of qualifying.
The stewards report on the race should be available from the FIA here on Sunday, so whilst we'll probably know the outcome of the incident between Hamilton and Maldonaldo beforehand, the justification should be available then.
I'd laugh if Perez stole in front of him at the first corner now. Some great performances today, Senna the standout for me, followed by Vettel and Alguersuari. Massa's outqualified Alonso in consecutive races now I think, cue Eddie Jordan doing a feature next week on how Alonso is buckling under the pressure.
Where did that lap by Vettel come from? I assumed that the red bull wouldn't be too good around this circuit, given the large number of straights.
Ultra low downforce setup, only Perez was faster than the Red Bulls in the speed trap, they should be well set in the race.
Red Bull now holds the 3rd longest record for pole positions now behind McLaren and Williams in F1 history
Back to "ram-gate" I believe they will both get reprimands with higher consequence this year if they do it again. Though I'm sure they will ignore them lol.
Did anyone else really enjoy the sound of Senna's renault? The exhaust sounded like a machine gun through the twisty sections!
