    Kane has asked Uefa to credit him with Ronaldo's penalty, he said "I watched the game on TV, and I swear on my daughter's life when I sign for Real I'll take all the penalties, Ronaldo owes me that one"

    Didn't watch the games last night, just seen the peno this morning, never a peno, OK no ball contact but also, not enough on the player.

    Oliver from his position could never have seen if there was enough contact, and by the rules, if he can't see it, he cant give the peno

    This just confirms why there are no PL refs at the WC, Oliver is a tragic ref and how he got a CL qtr final game of this magnitude is beyond me.

    To be fair the Robbo tackle on Sterling was more of a pen than this one. ;)

    But difficult decision by the referee. It could have gone either way but on review (if there was VAR) it looked like the right decision and Real rightly awarded the penalty.

    Pains me to say it, because I'd have loved to see Real dumped out, but it looked a clear penalty to me.
    The usual Ronaldo hyperbole was cringe-worthy again, though.
