Surely they would be carrying club photo ID cards, that prove their membership status? I, like others, wonder about the practicality of this across the full event's attendance, but it is the only half-sane way of proposing ID terms.

 

The photo membership cards will probably come at the same time the benefits schemes start.

Okay, thanks; in that case I believe they have a problem in upholding it as a requirement of their policing policy. If it were challenged it would be considered legally unreasonable and would be ignored, whether someone signed up to it or not - it is only one part of a membership contract and wouldn't be considered the be all and end all.
