Good luck Red Top, you’ll be great

I might well have popped along. Been to a few spoken words nights at Union Mash Up
Tied up though as I’m jamming with a band I occasionally play with

Well that wasn’t so bad... I read 4 poems and got
A standing ovation. A lot of the other poets came
Up to me after I’d been on and said it was brilliant
I could not get my head through the door when I
Left ha ha. I’ve been invited to read at union mash up
Next Thursday. Brilliant night glad I went.
Thank you all for the good wishes etc... buzzing
Now all I need is a good shag from my mrs and it
    Will be the perfect night.....

Well done. Really pleased for you. Take some time to bask in the glow you've clearly earned. <ok>

Thanks but I’m not really like that mate, when I got
Home I was kicking myself for not reading one I’ve
Wrote about how things were different when the
Trawlers put out to sea... I’ll do it next time..
    Thank you...

Is Union Mash Up one of the nights that Jim Higo runs?

Excellent mate. These things do take some balls. The standing ovation must have been a good feeling. I hope the missus sorts you out

“you were excellent this evening - well done”. Honestly mate buzzing.

Sometimes we can be our own biggest critics.

Think about what you'd say if someone you care about had just had the achievement you had, and what you'd say to them, and then give yourself the same comments.

You enjoy your achievements in the way that suits you, because you've earned that right. <ok>

Well done RTR - hope the charity did well out of it, and glad it was so rewarding for you too. Drag the missus to the next one, she won't fall asleep then...
