Force India seems a spent force, and Williams might as well not be there, but it doesn't appear that the strict hierarchy of cars from last year has persisted. Haas has pace when they have wheels, McLaren's somewhat competitive, and Pierre Gasly is suddenly very much in the picture if Red Bull finds themselves needing to replace a driver.
Absolutely, but he might now have competition. Harsh on Sainz, as I'm pretty sure he's in the slower car, but a few more performances like that (particularly in a car from which RBR has the telemetry) and they may be forced into a re-think.
To be honest I’m surprised there aren’t more serious injuries and deaths in that particular race. Cycling at speed over wet cobbles in a large peloton strikes me as a recipe for disaster. RIP Michael Goolaerts
What kind of runners have the Kenyans sent to the Commonwealth Games? No gold medals yet. Hopefully we ´ll see Kenya´s men win the 800m, and get a clean sweep in the 1500m and 3000m steeplechase, and also their ladies start picking up some golds.
I know, I know, it's not the music thread, but I am using it for (poor) comedy value. Just don't have a total eclipse of the heart.
A few years ago (well about 25) I was driving around on the way to the south of France with a mate in my Triumph Spitfire (I still have it ) and we were stuck in traffic and both bursting for the toilet. Saw a sign for Toulouse and said maybe we should head there. #TrueStory
I know! It is terrible!!!! Well done to the Jamaican girl by the way!!!! And deserved as she won by a few seconds.
At last a gold for Kenya in the 800m. Well done Wycliffe Kinyamal. I hate the guys who sit at the back and then put on a fast finish. It didn´t work out for him at the World Championships, nor did it quite work for him here. It would be nice if Kyle Langford set the pace for a change.
Only the tree-grown variety!!!! Can you remember that program on BBC1 when there was the "story of spaghetti growing on trees" one April 1st? Or perhaps you are of a younger vintage LTL?
