It's okay to show your Ronnie weakness mate. We've seen it in full flow throughout the years. I just prefer Messi as a footballer (although Ron gets the for being a better human being)
The reason I never want ‘Pool to win anything is twofold. Firstly, the club has a righteous sense of self-entitlement that I find nauseating. It started, for me, when ex players like Robbie Fowler came out with crap about ‘Pool “deserving” to be top 4 when it was abundantly clear that the club was in decline. In the years since, we’ve seen less of that kind of arrogant stupidity, although vestiges of it do remain in a large chunk of the fan-base. Secondly, because the football media is comprised of a disproportionate number of ex Mouser players, we are subjected to delusional crap every time ‘Pool has any semblance of success. Any rational debate is quashed and intolerance and bias rush to the fore. Why should the rest of us be forced to endure that crap? It sickens me to hear the likes of Jim White (TalkSport presenter) and Mickey Dim ramble on with their ridiculous plaudits, week after week. As a Spurs fan, I cannot bear to see Arsenal win anything. I admit and accept the fact that I can offer no other reason.
It isn’t just me, Pix. If ‘Pool were ever to win the CL, society in general, not merely this site, would become a much darker place, for decades to follow.
theres a lot of coverage about it (whether thats him and his team or not i'm not fussed) but he gives a lot away and spends time away helping out poor kids. Absolute bellend on the pitch though
probs, juan matas one, i heard bellamy does, drogba did, becks did you don't hear about it that often but i know ronaldo gets mentioned quite a bit.
I reckon if Real win we will have all the Spurs fans saying they would've won as they beat Real in the group stage. So if Liverpool win we can pretend we won as half their team played for Saints
Already read that elsewhere. If Spurs were still in it they would be favourites as they have beaten Real.
We haven't even had the SF draw yet and you're already predicting Armageddon You're making my point perfectly about how funny your meltdown would be if they actually win it.
Pundits rightly taking the piss after Harry (goal thief) Kane successfully managed to snide his way to claiming Eriksen's goal. Alan Shearer, Premier League record scorer with 260 goals: "I wonder if they will give me the other nine I also scored but were not given! #269 #appeal." Former England striker Gary Lineker: "I can think of half a dozen for the national side I might claim. I was only 10 yards away from Platt's volley against Belgium if that's near enough? Could yet be England's leading scorer." National League club Gateshead FC: "Our second goal at Tranmere Rovers last night has now been awarded to Harry Kane."
So anyway, Juve v Madrid...that's game over, Dybala is missing for Juve, that won't help Think I'm taking in the Bayern v Sevilla match...2-1 to Bayern from the 1st leg. Sevilla are capable of pulling rabbits out of hats so anything still possible. I expect Bayern to make the quality count over the 90 though
After last night with Roma, who knows ? Expecting Real to control the game better than Barca did, but this round has thrown up some real surprises.
