I'd like to nominate Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. Alonso said before Spa that he will try to win every race because he has nothing to lose - he then qualifies 8th. Hamilton said yesterday: "together we can destroy the field." If he finishes any lower than second tomorrow, surely that makes him a contender. Having said that, if Maldonado is found to have hit Hamilton deliberately, the award should be his by default.
