Hmm I’m still clutching at the purple patch we saw from Origi. He was brilliant at times.

He had a patch but everything has to be going right for him and if it's not he's a passenger and that's something we can't afford in the team. Don't get me wrong I thought Solanke could have put more effort in and could have been more physical Vs Everton but he tried and stuck to his job and was never useless.

    origi suffers from belgianitis

it's a chronic disease afflicting all Belgian stars.

it has a range of symptoms

    laziness
thinking you are owed your place
    no work rate generally.
doesn't follow any tactical plan if it doesn't suit own style or effort levels

he has gone to Wolfsburg in a league he should eat up and managed to be their scape goat including being subbed off before half time.

he's been ****e there and attitude stinks.

He was right, settling for a point against Klopp. Sam will be sacked for that cowardice

In Brazil wasn’t Origi lauded as the next big thing? Is it a case of too much, too young?

Looks a handful, Lukaku like even. Maybe he needs bringing back and coaching in the style he needs best to shine?

I don't think either are good enough. However, both ate young and both could get much better eventually. But we need players now, the likes of Origi and Solanke should be third choice

they should be they don't develop. they need the attitude to be not knocking on doors but to be first in front of queue in training, hardest working and they would develop.

Wolfsburg obviously don't rate what they have seen with origi.

I preferred Gerrard running the full length of Goodison in the last minute and doing a knee slide in front of the Park end......and then seeing he was being laughed at as the flag was up.....

Not very classy comment there. We know why he retired.
