Hi olm.my sat nav took me down the a52 onto the m1.was home just after half eleven with a drop off in swanland.the part of the a52 I was on was ok.
Angus MacDonald @Angus_Mac15 What a night last night was travelling support was fantastic, hope you enjoyed the game another big one Saturday
We followed the diversion into Derby but we weren't sure which diversion we were following - after a couple of circuits around the town we decided to head to the M1 past Pride Park as we knew that route back from previous visits there, only to find that the link from Pride Park to the A52 was closed. God knows how we eventually found the M1, but got back to Hornsea at 12.55AM
Glad to hear it wasn't just me, I thought I was going mad, I ended up going to Nottingham and getting on the M1 from there, got back at 12.30.
Biggest score does not necessarily equate biggest aggregate. Yes we once won 11-1 at home against Carlisle, but what was the away score? If we lost 3-0 the aggregate would have been 11-4 which wouldn't be as good as 9-1. As it happens we did win the away game 2-1 giving a 13-2 aggregate. Edit, oddly The Club have our biggest aggregate as 10-3 on the OWS.
Yes! It is called 'Where's your caravan' and it is actually quite good as he is both eloquent and quite amusing - worth a read anyway
They wouldn't have scored the penalty? How can't a manager take some credit, they get all the blame on a bad run.
i would have to disagree. the size of an aggregate is the total number of goals. you're arguing for a margin, not an aggregate.
+ The thing what I like is that despite the many changes each game there doesn't seem to be any sulking from players dropped and they all seem to be having a right go for each other /the manager Ok its obvious quite a few are playing for a move which is inevitable but at least we are ending the season on a high as opposed to a damp squib. I really feel sorry for Adkins, he seems such a happy go lucky bloke, bordering on naiive not realising how the carpet is gonna get dragged out from under his feet this summer re lack of investment and no ambition to retain the better players. Slutsky appeared too nice to object but eventually he came out with the supermarket must close statement. Wonder what Adkins will come out with when he realises his job has become a damn site harder. With this squad and only 2 or 3 additions we could be play off contenders but can anyone see us actually being anywhere near the play offs next season? Unless of course we have new owners. I wish the players knew there were to be new owners and are actually playing for contracts here. Mr Adkins enthusiasm and naivety must be rubbing off on me.
It’s quite frightening how many so called ‘experts’ on here don’t actually understand that this is what the game’s all about
Good post. You would expect dropping/resting players who are heading to a World Cup would cause problems yet it clearly hasn't Very good man management. With some financial support he could have us pushing next season but we all know what will happen.
Tomorri really? Thought he's looked well dodgy when I've seen him. Shows you what a bit of organization can do for players.
Players playing well cos they're after a move must be the most **** thing said on here and I've read it from quite a few posters. Didn't Burton do exactly the same then? Total bollocks. They're been well managed by a decent manager and are responding.
I agree to an extent Chazz, by the same rule you'd expect all of the bottom six would be playing out of their skins for a move, however they probably don't have a plonker like Ehab within their ranks - surely there can't be another idiot such as him - who has allowed their contracts to run down to such an extent that they'll mostly be available on the cheap, with the obvious exception of the likes of Bowen, and even his contract is probably thanks to the Tymon **** up. #****offehab
