We had a spell of it at aways mainly, either last season or the season before (can’t quite remember which) I’ve seen them set off on the ****ing concourse and in the ale house before the match ffs Beak heads mate
Or make it official... done safely by the club....like some do with lights and fireworks. So its properly planned and away from fans. Pre match or at the end. Then give a lifetime ban for anyone caught with an unofficial one?
lol just to let you know not sure bentasfuck applies to a ref who is just ****. city were dirty though trying to get your guys sent off. I have to give credit to the ref did for at least giving ederson a yellow for his shoving as no doubt one in the PL would have just ignored it
It was something that went largely unnoticed - Mane's reaction (or lack thereof). He walked away and I felt a little sorry for him. Ederson pointed at his own face (referring to the previous incident), where Mane had no intent. Mane apologised then, Ederson accepted it was an accident yet he dragged it up (ironically this incident also lacked intent). It's like when the Mrs accepts she overreacted about something but brings it back up in the next argument!
Totally get what you are saying but the fact he gave the yellow sort of makes it worse as he was applying his own opinion to the situation. It was retalliation, four counts of, not too fussed tbh, not like the mane red but everyone keeps pointing out how we were lucky, which we were but so were they. Sterling should have been booked for diving which probably would have stopped him from diving for the rest of the game. Is that ref at the world cup?
They're the brainless element, there's no doubt about that. Knowing what the repercussions could be for the club yet still going ahead shows that they care only about themselves.
yeah.. but then the other club says no and then UEFA poo poo and they get turned off. rugby has them... don't think much of it. like you could in theory line the whole.approach to anfield.with flares and so forth but the point is not flares. it's there's 5k fans welcoming rivals to Anfield intimidating the **** out of them compared to 3 fans, none looking at lfc bus and 6 reporters hoping for something. people went way too far and ruined it for everyone. simple as. nobody needs a red flare illegally brought into ground. it's ok in england you hide away in the stand and they do nothing. try it in the bernebau and get 3 months in Spanish jail or how about 3 in ukraine. like basel looked some party but the Swiss were not pleased with pyro over there....
Genuinely thought he did really well in that game at that level, look at bouf tonight very easy to lose your **** but he took it so well.
to be fair manes pushing and shoving was in the 30th minute. That soft last minute pen which the juve players were aggrieved about they knew would probably knock them out so quite different circumstances especially since buffon probably knows this is his final chance
oh I noticed it. there were three separate pushes. that guy is scum in my eyes now. he deserved a red card and would have got one if he was not at home.
No they shouldnt and i am not sure, but, i think bobby is alluding to the pressure, this was the end of his career and he knew it and he prob knew it was not a nailed on pen. He probabaly arrived tonight not expecting to be 3-0 up in 93rd minute, i think that just caused him to lose his ****. Sad end. Manes tbf was not quite in that cauldron, but he was being pushed and shouted at so close imho. Ederson was bang out, knew someone would count the shoves, only one out lmao
i wasn't talking about different rules. I was talking about why the reactions were different If mane had done something stupid (well done on him good lad) then that would have seriously affected Liverpools chances
It's becoming more and more common across England imo. Seen quite a few at our away games in last couple of years, mainly smoke bombs rather than proper flares though. Same as you said some **** set one off in a pub in Bournemouth
Yeah, there was a big sign put up outside the home end at the Liberty Stadium "No Flares Allowed" There was a large queue of men in their Y-fronts at the turnstiles and a large pile of ancient trousers under the sign. At least they tried.
