Not at all...stick around...ill bring it up myself...my point being the only 'bottling' I see justified is when Spurs lose a game. Yet you are up in arms if a Spurs fan says it get a grip Bob, seriously you have been hanging around with Bope and Skiddy too much.
no, the bottling doesn't come out when you lose a game. The bottling comes out when you lose a big and important game that is crucial to your season. It doensn't come out for just any game also not up in arms, you can say it as often as you like but its comical for no spurs fans as all know the what a bottling is
A match such as...a home game against local rivals where a defeat would leave you ten points adrift of Champions League qualification with seven games to play?
But he's right though...we can class that as bottling it...you had the chance to cut it to a 2 point lead instead it became an 8 point lead...it was a 6 pointer...you bottled the challenge and it cut you adrift and your gaffer reluctantly approaches the 'top 4' question ever since, when probed by reporters because he knows you ****ed up that day.
As opposed to posting comments that leave you wide open to perfectly accurate (and justified) responses such as saying that, when you're 1-0 up in a local derby with Champions League qualification at stake, losing 3-1 is the bottliest of bottlings that ever bottled...
yes boys keep on coming @Skylarker you will enjoy this. except we've been **** since post christmas, you boys have been on a roll and smashed everything aside and was doing the same with juve til the usual happened.
Worse than that, their opponent who apparently "bottles it" , then had two following PL games against Stoke and the PL champions elect. Surely incentive enough for a team to win at home against such an opponent knowing they will subsequently "bottle it" .
So as soon as a 17 game unbeaten run comes to an end its classed as 'bottling' it? I can guarantee you no matter when we went out of that tournament, you would have churned out the 'bottling' jibe...it would have been 'see a quarter/semi final is a big game and you bottled it' or words to that affect.
In 2 PL games Chelsky : 1. Bottled it 2. Threw in the towel (far worse than bottling it) . And as if it couldn't get any worse, on weeks 31/32 too (not even as far as week 36 where Spurs allegedly "bottled it" in the past 2 PL seasons) .
Probably unless you had been thrashed from the beginning by bayern nothing would have been said. haha we'll see. Sky knows what i mean. Chelsea the perennial bottlers with 2 PLs in 3 seasons
Make your mind up Bob...now you are boasting about the powerhouse that your club is but 10 minutes ago you was making lame excuses for them being bottlers
IMHO he has made no such boast. Bobby understands that his club struggle to credibly defend a PL title in the same season that they are in the CL. So writing off the PL season (and next season in the CL) ASAP and downing tools is best for them. Think of their club motto as being 'To realise ASAP is to throw in the towel' rather than the "To dare is to do" of Spurs.
Do you go on many boards to test the ground for @Skylarker ? I'm sure he knows his own way round now.
