Arctic Monkeys

I've only really listened to that one. Great album .

 

Suck it and see is one of my favourite albums. Alex Turner is a genius, best lyricist since Morrissey (Smiths era) in my opinion.

Will hopefully see them over in Dublin.

 

Hope they’re better entertainment than Stan’s flying monkeys!

And as for Brass Monkeys....

 

Not a patch on Wu-Tang.

Wake me up when there's tickets for them.

 

They have hotter chicks. Shame the noise is crap.

 

I wouldn't say crap mate, they have one or two good songs... the dance floor one you mentioned was ok.

 

That video with the dinosaur and hot lass was canny.

Early Wu-tang defo wipes the floor with these monkey lads. For sure.

 

I've never played Humbug much, no idea why. Perhaps it didn't grip me on first play and I've not been back to it.

Will have to give that a thorough listen.

All their other albums are superb and definitely not samey, there's a clear progression in them all

 

I have a feeling the new one will be a little different. The album title and track names are all a bit odd and it's been a while.

Apparently they have a clause in an album contract saying the wu-tang or Bill Murray can steal their album back in a heist.

 

I like 505 from their 2nd album.
