I've noticed a few times that VvD pulls up when he knows he's been fouled. The problem is that all sorts of fouls go on that play doesn't get stopped for and he should play to the whistle. Anyway, the ref was ****e, far too self-important, and he got so many things wrong that it's pointless for either side to claim that any one decision was pivotal. We got lucky at times, but that's football, I don't think anyone reasonable can say we didn't deserve the tie over two legs.
Behave 5ft 7” Sterling brushes a 6ft 4”CB and it’s a foul, ****ing lol. If that’s a foul then Sterling should have had 2 penalties, you can’t have both sides of that coin love..... ...and neither were pens imo......before someone chirps up.....
Sterling clips him from behind. Then clearly barges him off the pitch. I don’t care how big you are - when someone runs into you and knocks you off balance, you’re going down. The penalty shouts were soft but they could have easily been given.
Roberto Firmino is Liverpool's all time record goalscorer in the Champions League in a single campaign for the reds. (Includes play offs) Games: 12 Goals: 9 Assists: 5 (Whole season) Goals: 24 Assists: 15 @Zanjinho - shall I analyse all of the goals he hasn’t scored as well?
Definite foul on VVD but he shouldn't stop playing. What happened to Barcelona btw? I was looking forward to drawing them in the semis. Anyway one step closer
A couple of Liverpool fans got battered by City fans for having the cheek to celebrate Mo's goal. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...celebrating-goal-sat-Manchester-City-end.html Are you watching Uefa?
On the Anfield Wrap podcast one of the guys got hit and then thrown out of the stadium "for his safety", not the violent Manc Meanwhile Pep whinges about not being protected because his bulletproof bus had a couple of bottles bounce off it
VVD was looking for it and shouldn't have, he could have brushed him off if head wanted to. Anyway no harm done we won it.
This isn't the first time City has got away with their fans attacking away supporters, throwing coins, attacking away fans coaches etc, and also the vile comments aimed at handicapped Everton fans(one in a wheelchair), but they're all over social media about the(disgusting)team bus incident like butter wouldn't melt in the blue manc mouths.
Nothing wrong with the throw itself but both VVD and Robbo signalled a no to Karius. It should have gone long, but who cares we won.
In recent years they’ve let themselves down on occasion. They pelted us with coins and gob a couple of years back before starting outside and started a kick off by the buses after we did them 4-0 at Goodison last season. Shame as most City fans have usually been alright in my experience. They need to clamp down on it though before it’s viewed as being #standard
