Don't get me wrong, I'm positive he will get goals. I meant I actually don't know what he is doing whilst he is on the pitch, seems to run in zig zags when going in a straight line and looks confused when the ball lands at his feet. I'm sure he'll come good....

How Paul Merson is a pundit is beyond me, the bloke is a complete idiot! Then you have Phill ' Liverpool bias and has a ridiculously large nose ' Thompson who praises the bin dippers like there's no tomorrow.

Hope Ba hits form though, he just needs a goal to get him going, and hopefully that's tomorrow.

Tiote and Ba have both had poor starts to the season - both have been fasting for ramadan. No way is that a coincidence. Can't help sharpenss etc. I'm SO confident Ba will come good and score goals. I'll probably put a bet on him being our top scorer/score double figures

Nothing like writing off a player so quickly though is there <doh>

It was a good interview, as well. Seems confident and realisitic. Like it.

Ba thinks he can do a job for us, now it's up to him to prove it. We need someone to start scoring goals apart from Ryan Taylor and wor Sammy.

I think they're all clueless if I'm being honest. They were saying Raylor was like a ready made replacement for Jose and has been brilliant so far this season. Sorry like, but he hasn't. His set pieces are great but defensively he's certainly not a LB. It shows how much they know if they're only considering goals when picking out a defender for performing well.

Speaking of picking players based on goals, was Raylor in Garth Crooks' team of the week?

It might be worth not playing Tiote and Ba (is it also Abeid?) in evening games until after Ramadan has finished. When you can't drink or eat during the daylight hours you must be knackered in the evening. Even if you can grab something to eat and drink before night games, you probably won't be in the best of condition.
