    He's played 1 PL game, we should give him a chance, but i agree he's been a bit disappointing pre-season and in the cup.

    That annoyes me. Jeff Stelling saying "So far no big name replacements". Couldn't give one if we don't sign 'Big Names', it's about bringing quality in - not house hold names.

    Really grinds my gears.

    This. Although thought that Scottish fella (not sure what he called) was going to say I think they will struggle because of selling our top players - instead, he said they won't finish any higher than 8th

    Would take 8th :)

    He was quality for West Ham last season so there's no reason for him not to hit his form eventually.

    Anyway, he was at least only a free transfer.

    Love the conept of Merson dismissing us as a team who get a good ride in the Premiership then go back down, despite the fact we've played in all but two seasons of the Premier League since its inception. Mug.
