The Fulham game will be 15 minutes behind ours due to an injury, and they'll score a 90th minute winner for automatic promotion.
If we win tonight we are on 47 points. If we then win Saturday too we’d be on 50 points. If Barnsley lose tonight they can get a maximum of 52 points. If Bolton lose tonight they can get a maximum of 51 points. Bolton and Barnsley play each other on Saturday. If Barnsley win = Barnsley 52 max, Bolton 48 max If Bolton win = Barnsley 49 max, Bolton 51 max If they Draw = Barnsley 50 max, Bolton 49 max So if Barnsley and Bolton lose tonight and we win our next two games then we are mathematically safe as no matter what the Bolton/Barnsley result on Saturday, one of them wouldn't be able to reach 50 points. Given our goal difference we could safely say if we get 4 points this week and Bolton get 0 then we’d be safe. Add Birmingham into it too. They play Bristol and Wolves next. If they lose both of them and we win our two then we would be mathematically safe regardless of Bolton and Barnsley’s results.
We're currently 5th in the form table, the other clubs down the bottom (with the exception of Brum) are all still at the bottom of the form table. Leeds are currently 21st in the form table, it's a shame we didn't get our arse in gear a little earlier, we could have overtaken them. Still, decent chance of passing Forest and possibly Wednesday, the two biggest clubs in English football.
**** all to do in Burton. It's better than Derby and Long Eaton but not by much. Not as good as Norwich though. We are not going down with Hernandez back it was always going to make a big difference 20+ striker in this league plus Wilson is quality.
