You are complaining about DMD being made PL mod because you and he disagree politically on the politics thread, which is kinda bullshit.

 

I can see what DMD does, and i've not seen (I don't have to be around at the time)....I've not seen any logs that suggest DMD has deleted anything...other than if a sock was present. Maybe you are picking up on the back of a Libby comment yesterday, when he claimed his post was deleted....yes it was, he was responding to a sock.

See you need to understand the workings of the site....if i ban a sock it removes EVERY comment, EVERY thread....so it might seem as though DMD has deleted something, when in fact it's the removal of the sock that has taken every post with it...DMD just cleans up the scraps or saves them for Pete to eat later.

The PL board definitely needs a mod, someones personal information was doxxed and put on here recently.....

But, in general, this board ran perfectly well for years without any need for a mod.

 

HiaG was extremely lucky i was online at the time it happened. You need to think about that, hence why you now need a mod. If you don't like it, blame all the people that created socks....and not all of them were Stan....blame the HiaG for his constant wum mastering which brought me here....blame the creator of the Village Bike and all it's users. You've got a mod now, you are stuck with it. My reassurances if he steps out of line then i will deal with it, I've had that conversation with him privately and he's admitted openly on here that he has no mis-understandings on my position regarding that.

I will monitor the situation and deal with any issues immediately and without warning, if he miss uses his tools.

 

Again, with all due respect, you dont get to decide who on the Not606 staff gets to do what job and what their roles are.
This board has become a ****ing nightmare lately and definitely needs a mod imo, been saying it for over a year now. Socks, doxxing, people whining.
I dont particularly love DMD either, but he is who we have, and until such time that he abuses his authority, there is nothing to complain about.

No it hasn't. There was one incident that was wrong. All other incidents have driven by the supermod.

DMD has not currently done anything to abuse the tools i give him. If he does tell me about it and i will take a look.

I'm not going to go against DMD because he is a shhite by nature, I'm going to go by how he behaves with the tools i have given him and so far he has helped me when i've been busy. He might fook up, if he does I will put my hands up and apologise. I want to make it clear, he cannot hide anything he does from me...so all you've got to do is point me to it, even if it is deleted, i will check the logs.

How long DMD keeps his tools is down to him...or me as the case maybe.

However, whilst I don’t think this place should be moderated and I’m no fan of DMD, until he makes a decision that goes beyond his remit or he he differentiates between those he’s had an historic issue with and his kindred spirits on here, then I’ll shut the **** up about it.

Being a mod on a football forum is a thankless task, as I’ve done it, people sometimes forget that it’s not paid and it compromises why posters signed up in the first place.

So time to move on imo, Stan isn’t banned and can choose to come back when he feels like it, let’s just leave daft bannings however supposedly funny as a thing of the past and we’re alright I reckon
