I have been toying with this for a while. I don't think that I could keep away.I could justify it to myself by saying that I wouldn't be giving my money to RD. But part of me thinks I am being a hypocrite for going. Let us hope that we can get to Wembley. We have got a hard road ahead.

I respect Lardi's position, but it puzzles me, since he has consistently,and very eloquently listed the damage inflicted by Roland's tenure. He has forensically shredded any defense of Roland's stewardship. I read this forum to find out fans' opinions, not to be told that they don't have opinions, and I'm sorry if that seems harsh.

 

Unlike another poster on here, I have not flip flopped.

I have been of the opinion since the Watford 5-0 that Duchatelet has been a disasterous failure(putting it mildly) and we need to be rid of him.

There is no defence of this individual whatsoever.

I know you and Royston have exchanged strong views more than once, and you call it as you see it regarding Charlton sometimes. But I don't think you set out deliberately to wind anybody up or cause trouble for its own sake.
That's the only kind of visiting fan I wouldn't want to see here - the kind that just trolls to cause upset.

Naturally a fan visiting a forum of a team other than the one he/she supports themselves does well to be mindful that they are a guest and some of the locals might be a bit less welcoming than others. That said, honesty and plain speaking (even a bit of good natured banter) is clearly different from causing trouble out of malice.

My message to Duchatelet on buying an ST is quite simple - “Go Fvck Yourself”

 

I'd be quite happy to pay more if we had ambitious owners who would invest in the team.

 

Somewhat ironic that an owner who has invested Sweet FA in getting us back to the Championship now expects a premium from fans if we get there.
