When all's said and done, welcoming the buses has been a thing for a while - never been any trouble. Information about a route change shouldn't have altered that and route change or not, the idiots throwing things would have done it whichever way the buses came in. The change and disclosure of it wasn't the problem. I think we agree on that?
Tbh I dunno. I think there's a couple things. A) route change sent bus past a different pub. Was it a factor. I don't know. B) bus was late. How late is a question. To my mind 15mins is a huge delay in a top sides preparations. C) both buses came same route. Again could have been done differently. D) was it premeditated. I think some was, it was certainly badly organised. But eggs? That's premeditated. E) did the police have any option but to move route due to works? We know the new route had a bottleneck that was the issue So route or no... there were guys there with covered faces. They knew what they were up to, so irrespective of route yes they were doing pyro etc.
Eggs proves a premeditated plan to throw eggs. Eggs injure no one and damage nothing. If you're planning to throw bottles you don't bring the eggs too.
it's true MITO. Unless you can tell me that the flares and bottles were being used for purposes to be violent and not for celebratory purposes then we must conclude its a spur of the moment thing or more likely that the city players provoked them boys to getting more violent
There's absolutely no doubt (and no excuse) that it was because it was a team from Manchester, if it had been Barca, Real etc they'd have got the same "welcome" as Borrusia Dortmund without the missiles being thrown. It's been a different atmosphere to European games in the past when we've played against English opposition like Chelsea and Arsenal, but we've also played Celtic a few times in Europe and all I remember are the handshakes and sing songs between both sets of supporters. When the Man U coach arrived in our EL tie it came up Anny Rd from the opposite end, there are away supporters on that part of the road that come through the small entrance from Stanley Park, so there was more of a police presence down by the King Harry that night. Like I said I'm not making excuses i just think it was because it was Manchester opposition and the different route past the Arkles was a bad decision by the police. Let's hope the police, the club and more importantly the supporters(hooligans)learn a lesson from what happened.
No it's because it was Pep and ever since his last visit he's been whinging about the bus being greeted by noisy fans on the one hand while slagging off the Anfield atmosphere and it's ability to affect a game on the other
they should think themselves lucky! next time Joses in town with that scamp Herrera it will make hamburger hill look like toy story
Mo Salah was my waiter last night. Well... I suspect this was actually his American cousin. Hair, face, skin tone was almost identical... The only major difference was... His voice. He had the highest pitch voice of any man I've ever heard... I'm also pretty sure that he shared something in common with IBWT...

I can say stuff like.... Pep smells like a peado in a nursery THEN just stick the smiley. People know it's not serious.
