I have each way on McIlroy, Speith and Kuchar... one on a charge...one stuttering and one out of it completely lol
reed has it won. once that ball plugged and didn't go into water you know gods are smiling on the day ****. speith is best putter. I like him as a golfer. mcilroy is a dick.
Yeah it's Reeds unless he does something silly. Speith is funny with his conversations with the golf ball lol. McIlroy had a very bad day.... lost the putter completely. .
Joining the party late but the club shouldn't be punished for the state of some of your idiotic fans (and to be honest i say this for every club as i'm sure idiots just join it so be abusive and violent) However, even though it wasn't the intention of your club but LFC have a small responsibility on this for giving out the Man City bus route (again please correct me if i'm wrong) to create a hostile environment to give an advantage to your club. The one big difference between this and the usual UEFA crap about not having any authority outside the ground is that normally its fan on fan stuff outside of the grounds. This is different as it's fan on players and fair play to City (who i loathe under pep) but they aren't using it as an excuse when it surely must have affected them. Lastly that supermod has gone powerdrunk and is disgraceful referencing hillsborough.
Its quite simple. it'll be fines as usual Uefa can do what they like as its thier private club. you want to compete you do what they say even if they make it up on the day. The police have a big issue on thier hands as they clearly advertised it. I think LFC should not have put it on their twitter but then the bus would have come through unbeknowns. IMO the LFC bus should have been held until city bus went through. for me the rules should now be no fan congregation near bus route. It should be in an hour before game anyway so shouldn't come through masses of fans.
yeah i don't see a bigger punishment and rightly so. It's a good thing that LFC came out pretty quickly to condemn the fans, think the PR team did a pretty good job on that front
If they'd put any effort into organsiing the thing before hand it'd have been much better Frankly.... and this is no criticism of uefa... LFC have been fine numerous times for issues by uefa. we were fined at Europal eague final, at Europa QF v dortmund, at Europa last 16 v utd.. theres a clear trend of low level bad behaviour including the sort of stuff LFC are currently charged with Illicit chanting. Flares throwing objects the question must be asked.... when is the lesson going to be learned? Or more improtantly have fines done ANYTHING to get LFC to wake up and deal with the issue. We have seen criminal damage to the man city bus, egging the buss, illicit chants, fingers waves, hate and bile.. and from an official "fan" zone. LFC needs to wake up now. Fans need to feel pain over this. I'm sorry but they do. If everyone going to next CL match (hopefully this season) were searched and it took an hour to get into anfield then i think an element of self policing might come about. I would like to see a system where You need to go 5 or 6 matches before lifting restrictions without trouble. 5 matches where it takes an hour for 54k to get into ground would soften a lot of coughs. At minimum now the approaches for buses now need to have no official fan zones and heavy police presence paid for by LFC.
I agree with your post except the bit about the fan zone. The fan zone is in Paisley Square, the bus didn't go anywhere near it.
I know I've seen the video. It's not the fan zone though it's fans carrying flags en route. This is the best pic I could get - please log in to view this image
there you go. not sure how close we need to be until LFC take responsibility. right at end you can see the yellow flag i am on about.
If I could do a screenshot I'd post the pics that I know you mean but it's not the fan zone. The fan zone is in Paisley Square - please log in to view this image
ok ok I get you but its still a zone thats directly in the purview of the club as shown by the fan support flag and stewards with the bus as well as police.. Fan zone is terminology more suited to official locations where food and stuff is on sale in a number of points.
Apologies if I misunderstood you. I took your 'fan zone' to mean the officially located fan zone. Your point still stands
the lunacy of it is the amount of cameras there and the city guys in the bus were filming before they aver got near so everyone expected something.
theres a fan zone at new super store and thats nowhere near the zone but there's also a few other food spots around the ground. theses effectively serves as congregation points too. The paisley one is in theory as for from away fans as possible. The normal route would be straight in on anfield road and swing in under new stand. The police send the bus round the park down arkles lane and all the way past the shankley gates, anfield road end and in. The trouble was slightly further out as the bus turned onto anfield road form the lane. Its as the bus comes in you are seeing just a large amount of people jeering by the end of videos and where the fan support flag i saw was. If the new stand was built this route would not even be possible any more It seems the cops were worried about one bottle neck on the usual route and forced them down a worse bottleneck on the other.
