I was going to say that... we've kept (and even built teams around) players who have behaved worse, so if it is true that Ranger's contract is being terminated, let's not take it as a measure of the club's integrity. It wouldn't happen if he were any use to us on the pitch.

Pisses me off when I hear stuff like this, loads of footballers just take their job/salary for granted and act like total pricks as if no-one can touch them because they're a footballer. All of us would take their career in a heartbeat and Ranger has just wasted his. Stupid ****ing ******.

  3. I wish people wouldn't judge the situation straight away, because in this pathetic country, it's who ever wins a fight is the criminal, and who ever loses is the victim.

All we know is Nile Ranger assaulted someone. We don't know if it was just him randomly smacking someone, he could have been provoked or attacked himself.

But in this country if you fight back you're a criminal. They say you're allowed to use "necessary force" to protect yourself, but it's bollocks because restraining someone could also be classed as assault, and punching someone back automatically makes you a criminal as well.

You should get some sort of medal for your bravery in saving the poor old TV.

Not so long ago he was showing off these cheap looking boots on twitter with his name on them.

    From CNarr07 on twitter:

Nile Ranger contract terminated because he has a JLS song as his ringtone. #nufc

Not justifying it in the slightest, but how many of those saying 'terminate his contract now' are also those saying 'can't believe we let Barton go'? Barton was actually convicted and we kept him on.

  16. Imagine if it was a woman? In this country, it doesn't matter what a woman does to you, you can't hit her back or else you're a vile bastard who should be hung, and restraining her can be classed as sexual assault... <doh>

IMO if she is a lady you shouldn't hit her, but if she's man enough to throw a punch at a man, she's man enough to take one. So hitting a woman randomly is wrong, but hitting a woman that hit you first, it's no worse than what she did to you.

Just because the person is weaker than you doesn't make you a bully if you hit them back if they hit you first, you're bully if you pick on people smaller than you, but if you hit them back it's not bullying, it's called doing what's fair.

But in your case the woman is bigger than you, so where does that leave you?

  18. It doesn't matter because people in this ****ing world don't take that into consideration.

I'm 19, 6ft and 12 stone, and if a 6ft 5, 14 stone 17 year old attacked me, if i hit him back, i'd get done for child abuse... <doh>

    This ****ing country.

Good reasoning HMT I tip my hat to you sir for your level headedness rather than your more familiar knee jerk reaction.

His record isn't the best in fairness and if he did hit the guy and run off as reports have suggeested he should be dealt with accordingly.

Double standards though, how people played down Carrolls incidents but now we want Ranger sacked for a similar incident before knowing the full story.

He should just be sacked for being ****!!!!!
