Morning all. Bright and sunny with real warmth promised for this afternoon. I still have a few aches from my gardening exercises, but after all the rain feel as if I am now moving in the right direction.
Lovely day in London with nieces today. Would encourage any wildlife and photography enthusiasts to visit the wildlife photographer of the year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. It's stunning.

You never know on the first pull of the starter handle if it’s going to be stone dead, but I’ve got in the habit in the last few years, on seeing each year’s initial burst of combustion, of letting out a Colin Clive “She’s alive!”
Morning all. I had my day all planned out, gardening this morning, football this afternoon. Woke up to the sound of rain on the roof. That was not forecast. It has stopped now, but everything looks wet, so out with the wellies that I hate, there will be things I need to and can do.
Morning all. Rather grey but mild and dry in this part of the country this morning. We had a shower of rain yesterday evening and all the cars have a light covering of sand on them now. More showers are forecast, so maybe it will wash it off, although as the cloud is coming up from the south still it might bring more.

Dave I hope that all goes very well tomorrow and they can sort you out. Leo I hope that they find a middle road for your lady that will work. I will have all of you in my mind tomorrow. The NHS is better than me, I can only send my positive thoughts.
When I had an operation out here I consoled myself with the thoughts that they know what they are doing having had practice before they got round to me.
