So cruel. We deserved something from this. Optimistic game but this late in the season optimistic losses mean jack-****.
Can't question the effort. Desperately need to find a way to avoid surrendering 3+ goals a match, however. Jack's sending off might be a blessing in disguise there.
Why is Wilshere anywhere near Arsenal´s team is beyond belief? I have always said he is an odious little squirt and the sooner Arsenl get rid of him, the sooner they are likely to become contenders for the Top 4 again.
I'm more confident of staying up now than I have been at any point this season. That's easily the most passionate performance I've seen. Six more of those and we'll catch Huddersfield. PS Wilshere is a c***
Sounds like a decent enough performance but playing well and still losing to a good side is standard for us this season.
From the bits I saw, unlucky not to come away with something. Definitely an improvement, but time obviously running out.
No complaints from me today, we showed desire, passion, commitment and a lot of bravery going forward. Tadic had his best match this season, Cedric had a stormer and Charlie is back. Certainly cause for hope after this. JWP and Pierre must start every match for their energy and control in midfield.
somewhat dumb, but that's the kind of decision that can fire up a team, they played well, showed heart and fought, this could a long awaited turning point
He's a young lad, so it's a shame to even suggest. But I'm 100% in agreement. Just look at today, all three of Arsenal's goals came from Stephens' side. We badly needed him out of the side. Yoshida and Hoedt has to be our partnership going forward, and if we want to play three at the back again, Bertrand can tuck in. As for the game, we were excellent in the second half. And overall, no way did we deserve to lose. But it's still no points, it's still a failure to beat a big team. We regularly put in these performances against the bigger boys, but we still don't win them. I'm not going to get excited - and I refuse to type that whole line "if we play like this..." - because we've seen it so many times already this season. I'll believe only it in the event that against Leicester, and Bmouth and co, I actually see it.
Well that's the end of 3 at the back. None of that match really made sense, but 6 more not sensible games might not be so bad.
We can only hope for a spirited end to the season and see where that takes us. In all likeliness' relegation but today was more positive than what has been served up lately
