****s sake. Not only does Wellbeck knock the ball over from 2 yards out he also denies Lacazette the opportunity to put it in. On top of that he's ****ing smiling!
Wellbeck is such a confusing player. He has the perfect physique for a striker. He's very quick, strong, has a great leap and is a decent height... But his end product in terms of striking and passing is just WAY below what it needs to be.
It’s funny, for the first 25 minutes or so I was thinking we need to get rid of this entire team apart from Reiss Nelson and Aubameyang. Literally we seemed to have every squad player not up to arsenal standards on the pitch. Sounds a bit harsh, but there’s a lot of players at this club that need moving on. Also I think Mustafis error for their first goal finally did enough to shift me toward thinking he is not good enough either. That was such poor, lazy, passive defending on his part. Despite all that, 3 points is 3 points, so well done.
Aubameyang on the score sheet again - he's consistently scored since joining us, looks like an incredible signings so far
He is not good enough for a team with top 4 aspirations. Compare him to let´s say, Herrera of Manchester United. Herrera has a brain, which is totally lacking in stupid Jack.
