Must be watching a different game to some people. Away to Arsenal where we have never won in the PL, and unlucky to go in losing at HT. A performance more then anything was needed from the players. Chelsea at home is the bigger game of the two.

To the people talking as if this is already over, the teams have made a snap decision to play another 45 minutes before deciding who's won.

Least we have some quality on our bench, Shane long is struggling big time.. I'd bring on Gabbiadini.

Sorry completely disagree. This is an arsenal side that has made several changes to all but focus on the Europa League in a half empty stadium

certainly still a chance we can get something out of this. Hope the players aren't in a defeatist mindset.

Not the best half. Started well, but should’ve been obvious to everyone that Arsenal are just going through the motions and should have really gone for a second when we went 1 up. They have upped it by about 1% and have scored twice

Lots of positives from that half. From the start Bertrand looked like he gives a **** for once, and he’s set the tone. A great battling first half, and a nice goal from Shane. We certainly don’t deserve to be behind, but the difference is down to the quickness of Arsenal moving the ball in the final third.

I don’t think he has a left foot, gets himself in trouble and under pressure

Yoshida deciding to turn his back on a shot is the only complaint I've got.

We've stuck at it, got forward at times, and limited (albeit a weakened) Arsenal in terms of chances created. But we're losing, and getting back into it won't be easy. I would strong expect to see 3-1 rather than 2-2, but at least we're still in it.

I do understand why people are negative, but I think it’s overly harsh.
We have played well, if we had played like this for the rest of the season we would be nowhere near relegation.
I am pessimistic about our chances, but today is not worth slating the team IMO.

Mark Hughes will get then concentrating on the game plan which has worked albeit undone by some class And a bit of luck.

We aren't out of this, But we need to press a lot more as a team..

Out of interest, do you feel this 11 are currently giving 100% out there today? Blood sweat tears etc. the lot?

When I think of relegation teams over the year or even promotion sides (Leeds away in our promotion season) I think of bodies on the line flying about, die by the sword attitude, real desperate stuff. I don’t get any of that from this lot..

Agree on sentences 1 and 3.

The fact that sentence 2 has been said about 1,000 times this season, is getting tiresome now (not having a go).

For me, the only problem about this game plan (and I highlighted it before KO) is that Arsenal will only get stronger. At some point, I would expect Ozil and Lacazette to get on the pitch.

There's a lot of rationale to the "keep it tight, try and nick a late goal" tactic. And indeed today, I'm not against it. But I think that's more because I don't want to lose by four, rather than because I have belief that it might just work.

Yes, most of the team are giving their best. Long is running for everything despite being injured just before he scored, and the midfield particularly are pressing ferociously. Yoshida still doesn’t look match fit. Still 45 minutes to go, let’s see...

I think they are giving 100%, yeah. Tadic has been running and actually tackling. PEH and romeu have been battling.
The sad fact is we just aren’t very good. You could question their effort last week, but not today.
